[QUOTE="Rican_Havok"][QUOTE="smokeydabear076"][QUOTE="Rican_Havok"][QUOTE="RobbieH1234"][QUOTE="Rican_Havok"] Where did he say that Europe is a country? I don't recall him specifically stating "The country of Europe doesn't interest me" anywhere. "I live in America, not Europe" and "There's no ownage to something that happens in another country" are both independant clauses. Trust me, I got an A in AP English and Composition. I know what I'm talking about.

Isn't "so" a conjunction thus joining both clauses?"So" is a clause, but the sentence requires you to read between the lines, so to speak. I'll give you a sililar example to what he said. Pretend we're having a discussion on the sales of pancakes vs. waffles. Someone says that waffles outsold pancakes at Waffle House. I say "So? I go to IHOP, not waffle house, sowhy should I care what happens at other restuarants"? Just like Europe contains many countries, the category "restuarants" includes IHOP.
You spelled similar wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! You also failed to mention all of the punctuation errors in his post.I fixed the "similar" error, thanks for pointing it out. Anyway, I understand that on online forums, people make mistakes on punctuation on accident, so it doesn't bother me. However, you guys were accusing him of calling Europe a country, which he clearly didn't do. I was just standing up for him in his defense.
How about you do us all a favor and fix "sowhy" too. You don't need to be a forum hero! He should be able to explain himself.Fixed. Anyway, you guys were ganging up on him. He needed someone on his side that knew what he was talking about. He's probably not even here. And even if he really believed Europe was a country, is that enougn to justify going off-topic with your personal insults? I don't think so.
