[QUOTE="cobrax25"] that was never the point...read the original TC's post....he said that since the PC version sold so little....the game should be a 360 exclusive....I was meerly showing him its not true.
his original post...also points to only units....it doesnt make much sence to go by this since there are many, many small, $5/$10 PC games being sold (WOW is now $10)
also...the PC Bioshock also comes in 2 versions.

Another poster than fails to read the original post. The reason why many of us have pointed out Europe's sales was due to the fact that the OP is completely off his rocker making statements that the PC platform is dead. If it was dead or dying, as so many of you misinformed people seem to think, than it wouldn't have sold well anywhere, which just isn't the case. The PC version doesn't have to sell as many in the US compared to the 360 in order to be successful. Not to mention, Steam is rocking as well as D2D which are completely ignored worldwide. On top of all of this, the PC version is plagued with Securom which is Definitely preventing many copies of Bioshock being sold, as many people just refuse to support these so called "anti-piracy" techniques.

I guess I can answer both of these posts at once.
Now cobra, bringing it up once, that was perfectly fine, because it destroyed the thread creator's claims that PC gaming is dying, dead, etc. The second time, okay, maybe he and some other folks didn't get it the first time but what I've noticed throughout the course of this thread is you bringing it up every time someone brings up the USsales. That's my problem.
In response to the claims of PC games being sold in $5 or $10 increments, I don't really see what that has to do with Bioshock sales.
Yes, the PC version of Bioshock also comes in two versions, but this still doesn't tell me that the PC version is outselling both 360 versions combined. Also, like I mentioned, there's no solid attach rate percentage (such as the 88% versus 12% for the 360 and PC versions respectively) so there's no way of knowing how small the gap is between them like there is here.
thats not why I keep mentioning it.....
I mention it in respons to all the people that here on this thread are consistantl saying that PC gaming is dying...they bring up US sales because they think it applies to the whole world....when clearly, it doesnt, and thats what I am trying to show them.
as for the 2 versions thing....one can resoably assume that the are being sold in similar proportions of both consoles.
