I just got back from GameStop and they were all sold out of copies of the game.
I'm a sad panda right now.:(
My friend was playing it on his 360, I think it happened once or twice. But that was only in the first 3 hours or so, and he said it hadn't happened at all since.
People are running around whining so much about this and that, but I haven't run into anything but minor audio hiccups a few times on my PC version.
I have played it for a good 25 hours with some 4 and 5 hour sessions and I have not seen these hiccups Jeff G was talking about in his review. Gamespot should revise their review, its obviously their X360 has problems or its their review copy of the game.Danthegamingman
They aren't going to re-review it. They would have already.

They will if their 360 dies in the near future or if its a problem with the disk instead of the actual game. Considering the split between people who have had no problems and people who have it sounds like more of a hardware issue than something thats wrong with the game, and therefore it shouldn't affect the review.I have played it for a good 25 hours with some 4 and 5 hour sessions and I have not seen these hiccups Jeff G was talking about in his review. That is one thing I dislike about Gamespot. If a game has stutter issues or whatever, they just assume it is the game and not a hardware problem. Also, the fact that Gamespot knew it happened on some Xbox 360 machines, but not all should have been a huge indicator that it is NOT the game's fault. Does Gamespot just assume that their 360s are in perfect working order with no hardware problems at all? Pretty arrogant, if so.

But it doesn't matter, those freezes and bugs don't represent the score in it's entirity, and I don't think that they will bump up the grade to a 9.5. Just seems too much.

They might, there really weren't any major complaints about the game, so it might have been on the bubble between 9 and 9.5. PersonallyI thought the review was a joke anyway. How can Jeff complain about the vita-chambers? Idoubt hetried to take down a big daddy on hard.I only purchased the game today, and played for a max of 3-4 hours, but i didn't notice any stuttering or pausing during the game. It runs SO much better on my 360 than my X2 3800+/2 GB/SLI 7800 GT system, atleast demo-wise.MyopicCanadianAre you kidding? On low settings, my Pentium 4, 1GB RAM, GeForce 6600 runs at atleast 30fps with very minor frame rate drops.
I haven't run into any problems whatsoever yet. However, my friend was talking about a glitch he ran into at level 4(ish), that wouldn't let him progress anymore or something. He had to go backtrack and do something to fix it.

But you need to be a paying member for that i think.
Yes. I started my third run through today and I have had massive framerate and freezing issues at Fort Frolic. I don't know wtf the deal is.Trickshot771
I just completed Fort Frolic, no problems at all, not even slow down with mutiple traps and proximity mines

...low settings? Not sure how that's relevant. The 360 version looks a little better than my PC running high settings at 1280*1024 and the framerate is much better.
