I think that was a rumor for that COD MMO they are creating. It would be funny if they applied it to Black Ops and there future COD games.

Regardless, it will still be the same nonsense. Pay for maps a few weeks later, then a few more just a little bit after that, and I wouldn't doubt they go as far as charging for weapons.

But what I find is that it all comes down to the amount of hype, and the TC's hype is obviously on the CoD camp.

I think I'll wait for the reviews and try them over at my friend's house before buying.

In the top 5 games of the top 20 there are 3 COD games,MW1 MW2 and COD 5,and MW1 was release the same year Halo 3 was and still is played almost as much as Halo 3 is,even that COD 5 is also there and that MW2 is the top most played game,which mean that if only one of this game would be up MW2 would actualy beat Halo's numbers by a huge margin.

I don't know if i can even be bothered getting Halo: Reach right now... I know i wont get betting Black ops for sure though. Not too hyped for reach really... I need to want to finish the campaign in ODST first...

No it isn't. At any given time of the day Halo has around one hundred thousand. In CoD 4 and WaW you can only expect to see around ten to thirty thousand players online at any given time. Halo 3 was the most played game of 2007, 2008 and 2009. Modern Warfare 2 finally taking down a three year old game doesn't really prove much.vashkey

Dude 13,000 players get Warhawk on PS3 and it did not sell even close to COD 4 and COD 5,but just so you know the PS3 version of MW2 gets between 250,000 to 350,000 players doring peak hours,knowing that MW2 on 360 has a bigger community than the PS3 version is safe to say MW2 on 360 could be getting half a million players at peak hours or more which mean it quite crush Halo 3 100,000,but i don't think that COD 4 and COD 5 get just 13,000 players that would mean that most of the games behind it have incredible low communities numbers if th drop is so huge.

Like I said, Halo 3 is a three year old game. Beating it doesn't mean much. And World at War and COD4 did, early in their live, beat Halo on some weeks, but as always, Halo 3 prevailed. It has a more dedicated community. And I said at any given time of the day these games will see these number players. That does not mean during the entire day. You can see how many players log on in the entire day for Halo 3 on the bungie website and in the past 24 hours Halo 3 has seen over seven hundred thousand players. Thats pretty impressive considering it's age. And it is a fact that Halo 3 was the most played game on Live for the years of 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Considering the huge amount of hype behind Call of Duty and the fact there six of them available on the 360 it'd be pretty sad if there weren't a good amount of them on the charts. It's no surprise.

Honestly its a toss up to which will sell more... Im leaning towards reach.. But its tough to tell because neither has a number in the title which for some difference makes all the difference in the world. One of the reasons MW2 did so well lol, all because of the 2.. Its sales favorite number.
