They still don't own From Software, therefore they are not a first party developer. They are a third party developer who work with Sony on exclusive games, much the same as Epic were with MS last gen.
Naughty Dog and Guerilla Games are examples of Sony's first party devs.
A 3rd party developer can still develop a 1st party game. See: Ratchet and Clank, Smash Bros, KiIller Instinct. Even then, Sony Japan Studio still co-developed the game.
Your Epic example doesn't work since MS only bought the Gears IP in 2014, so Gears of War was a 3rd party game until 2014.
I leave this here for you to peruse
"Bloodborne began development in 2012 under the working title of Project Beast. Bearing many similarities to the Souls series of games, Bloodborne was partially inspired by classic H.P. Lovecraft and Dracula novels, and the architectural design of certain real world locations in places such as Romania and the Czech Republic. The decision by FromSoftware and director Miyazaki to create a new intellectual property (IP) and not another Souls game was made because Miyazaki wanted to create something "different"; at the same time, Sony wanted a new IP to be made exclusively for the PlayStation 4. An expansion for the game, titled The Old Hunters, was released on November 24, 2015."

This is a pointless circle of "yes they are", "no they're not" and will go nowhere. As I originally said I don't care about Bloodbourne as I have no interest in the game what so ever, so I'm not going to spend more time on a pedantic circle argument.
