Technically the game isn't anything special, yes, but the art-style is very good.

If you want realistic graphics go and play The Witcher 2.

Im saying that with the Wii which should have beyonce xbox 1's power it could look ALOT better than it does. There has already been screenies of rachet and clank for ps2 that are comparable to SS. Obviously SS does look better but the difference isnt enough to be proud of anything. This is Nintendo's first party baby, SMG looks much better than SS I dont get why this one isnt up to par yet.

Asking why Zelda SS doesn't look as good as SMG (still, way too son to tell), is like asking why Infamous 2 doesn't look as good as Uncharted 3, Scale.

I can't believe people are even caring about the graphics on a Zelda title. It really doesn't matter and hasn't ever really mattered. Seriously, the only technically impressive title in the entire franchise history is Wind Waker. Every other game has been purely artistic. And that doesn't change with this entry. We know the game is going to have a huge scale with a large world to play in. It's aready showing how pretty it is artistically and that's all that truly matters. What makes matters worse is that we're looking at magazine images and saying that this is truly representitive of how the game will look. We know that Wii games in particular don't screenshot well anyways. The game looks as good as they could make it and that's all one can ask for.

SS doesn't look that much better for being a late 2011 game...

Taking into account how much technology has evolved since the GTAIII times, one would think Nintendo would have come up with something better than these screenshots.

Impressive scale but lacking in detail overall. Notice the flat arches compared to the details in the Zelda shot.

Even in this crappy screen you can see more model detail and far more texture detail as well.

*Note* I shrank the Zelda image so compression blah blah blah.

Which doesn't matter because even in this shot the Ratchet pick is more VISUALLY IMPRESSIVE. Technically yes Zelda is better, but good god everything else is terrible. Well at least the Nintendo fanboys aren;t comparing this to Xbox games which is even more insanse as the Xbox can do what the Wii can't. HD.
