A game flopping is never good news.Marka1700
Wiifit flopping would be a happy day.
Madden 09 flopping would also bring me joy.
Any Need for Speed game from now on too.

Exactly hear hear. And then you have a devoted dev, and a new IP and it flops at sales, rather than these barstard cash cows.
Cows are rediculously delusional. Everytime I read one of their posts that age old question comes to my mind, "are some people really too stupid to be allowed to live?". The only game that was really hyped by sheep that turned out to be a flop was Red Steel. Unlike the cows who hype every single exclusive they've ever had and they've all flopped, R&C, Lair, Motorstorm, Uncharted, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, etc. If you're a cow make sure to read your posts before entering them to make sure you didn't tard out halfway through. So sad to see this guys alone . Anyway lots of Wii fans are hyping this game like the ultimate hardcore game for the Wii. I think this game score will be a solid 8. Its not going to be AAA. Its funny to see wii fanboys hyping every game around and expecting to be 9 or 10 and when news get out that its 7 or 6 their excuse is " well i am not suprise" or " It never got hyped" like having amnesia that almost for 5 or 6 months they hype the game like it was GOTY stuff all around the forum.
To wii owners, its Ok to have big expectations for a game, but dont hype it, its better to wait to launch or to read the first real reviews to know if its ok,, or nice or very good. The problem with the Wii is that right now only a bunch of games are acceptable that goes to medium to high standars, the rest have become bad or just mediocre.
Wait to see the reviews from here in USA and from there you can make your own mind.
Thats my advice.
I am not a fanboy or cow or lemming, i do own a Xbox360 and PS3, why not the wii??? because there hasnt been any game right now that makes my mind go for one, galaxy looks nice but right now technology for xbox or ps3 is far superior than wii and after plaging bnoth of them yes i can say they are far superior.

Thats my advice.
I do not blame them, i would not buy a game looking like that myself, when games look like LO and BD, how can they go buy a game looking like that ?
saolin323
Because some people care more about playing a good game then looking at a bad one.
Not saying LO is bad, but BD wasn't that good. :|
I know this is late but everyone will know the reason why it floped in Japan and thats because it had no blood in the game Japan like to see blood which they got No More Heroes cut.wwefanforlife
lol why did you bring this thread back? and awww I can see saolin posting before his Fable 2 hype days... Bless his little heart

Hey nintendo needs to stick to the Mushroom-collecting, Strawberry princess rescueing, Cute little bunnies and cats-featuring, 2D sidescrolling mingames having, games they're used to making. See now that's what people mean when they say Nintendo is meant for kids and non-gamers. Pretty sad that the game is one of the closest thing you guys have to a hardcore M rated game. What's the other you might ask, RE4, which has been remade and ported and reharsed. And it's a multiplat for that matter. Pretty sad uh?
LOL @ Nintendo.
You vaguely described something resembling Mario. That's one of their franchises. They have made few "minigame" type games themselves, apart from the Mario Party and "Wii" series(less then 5 games in total).NMH was a success the developers had a party celebrating the success of the game in BTW nmh is suda 51 bestselling game ever in (JAPAN) and worldwide in the game is still selling a few thousand copies on a weekly basics
Um... why are people still talking about this?
Anyway I though No More Heroes was a fantastic game, not so much for what it did but what was implied in the characters, in the structure of the gameplay, in the story and in the setting. The game had a lot to say about gaming culture and about society, especially in the US, ironically I saw it as a gigantic criticism of the type of people who populate gaming forums. Travis Touchdown is your average System Wars teenage jerk.
