[QUOTE="ChevelleFan"][QUOTE="mastershake575"][QUOTE="ChevelleFan"][QUOTE="mastershake575"] http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=04&kc=6W300&l=en&oc=bdcwyfz&s=bsd select no monitor and add a 8600gt to make the price $569and you have a great gaming machine so why do people say buh buz you need a $2000 computer when you can get that one cheaper than the ps3 that will play games on par if not better and do so much more plus if you spend $50 more you can get a 1950xt which is way better than the consoles gpu

Lol, you can barely run current games on all high settings with that setup.
1. the consoles can't even run games that look as good as a pc on high settings 2. the x1950xt eats games alive what are you talking about
I own a X1950XT you ignorant pc fanboy and I can tell you it does not "eat games alive." Hello, earth to hermits have you never seen Gears of War? I would dare to say it looks better than most PC games today. Look at reviews for the 8600GT and even people with an E6600 and 2 gigs of ram struggle to play current games on the highest settings. Sure a 8600GT is not too bad right now, but only if you have the other hardware to back it up and what happens when Bioshock, Gears of War,Crysis, or UT3 come out? I seriously doubt a 8600GT is going to offer a greater experience over that of console. Why don't you quote the rest of my post next time instead of making it look like I am here just to bash the PC. Take a look at the unions I am in, I think I know what I am talking about. If it was extremely evident that a 500 somewhat PC offered an experience far superior to that ofa console then why are we even debating this subject. Consoles would not be taking over the gaming market because everyone could afford a great gaming PC and do other stuff on it too. Too bad most of us live in reality.
Lol obviously you know NOTHING about Epic and a little game they created called Unreal Tournament. All Unreal Tournament games have been otpimized to provide a broad user base. I was able to enjoy UT2004 with a 2000 Dell Optiplex (which had an "amazing" Intel 8mb integrated grfx chip, 800mhz Intel P3, 256mb ram, and 18 HDD) and on my brother's Dell laptop (Nvidia 5200 series).
Yeah, obviously. Yes, I am sorry Mr. High and Mighty I forgot you know everything about Epic. I am a bit perplexed thoughhow I have a better PC, yet I could barely run low settings with a decent framrate-> so much for optimisation.
