I asked what games elevate the ps4 above the xbo, and you gave me a list of multiplats. So not a reason to get a PS4 but a reason why i should stick with my ps3.

It might have more games rated over 70 but if only 1/2 games are actually any good isnt good reading and doesnt prove that the console is worth buying, especially if most of its games are multiplats

It's also not as black and white as ppl make it out to be. Theres ppl who never owned a PS3....so games like TLoU are still viable for PS4, theres ppl who don't play on PC....so the more indy games PS4 has is relevant, lots of ppl don't own a Vita....so games you can get on Vita are good to have the option.

Take me for instance: the only reason I want an X1 is for MCC. Even though all those games are multiplat by standards here. But it's enough to make me want an X1.

TC, it looks like they have taken many steps to turn themselves around from the abysmal reveal and then launch conditions and I look forward to seeing more things that develop with them. I think though they rely on their handful of tentpole franchises a little heavy and need to expand a little more for my liking*. I'd consider them as my second console of this gen if the finished product of their new developments are decent. I am a fan of their embrace of apps though and hope sony follows suit on that.

*Racing games aren't my thing, so Forza is for me a moot point. I am an old school Halo fan but the MCC thing has me skeptical - I'll wait for reviews of the released game. Never was a gears fan outside of renting it and thinking they were good fun.

Quantum Break is made by Remedy, masterminds behind Max Payne 1 &2 and Alan Wake. Didn't you see its last year's presentation at GDC which showed several minutes worth of gameplay? This game is one of flagship titles for the Xbox One.

First Crackdown was actually one of the first best-sellers on the Xbox 360 and scored in the 8s everywhere. Very fun sandbox game made by the director of the very first Grand Theft Auto and he's on board for this one as well (the second Crackdown was made by an entirely different studio). This reboot will supposedly feature insanely destructible environments with very complex physics. I loved the first Crackdown, it was the only sandbox TPP action game apart from Red Dead Redemption that I actually finished. I'm very hyped for this one.

Sea of Thieves looked extremely well graphics-wise and it's Rare's first non-Kinect game since 2008! On top of that they have always wanted to make a pirate game and this title existed as a prototype under the name Project Dream. Furthermore, it's not going to be a MMO, but a co-op game with heavy social emphasis, pretty much like Destiny and the single player mode isn't off the cards, either. The concept itself looks very promising.

Now, ReCore has Megaman / Onimusha / Dead Rising / Lost Planet's creator as well as developers behind Metroid Prime series at the helm, so it's pretty much self-explanatory why this gets people's hype.

I'm not saying all those are guaranteed hits, although Quantum Break has this written all over it, and Crackdown to lesser extent, but there is considerable interest in these games, and while they might be not up to your liking, that doesn't change the fact people anticipate them.

You know as an Xbox fan, I'm not really finding all that to be the best of news. In fact, some of it sounded bad. Like the free maps for halo 5 not being a Microsoft decision but a 343 one, so it won't blanket over to other first party games.

Still in the shadow of PS4.

They have the money -- get some teams working on Perfect Dark 2, Kameo 2, Banjo 3, Fable IV, Crimson Skies 2, Conker 2, Viva Pinata 3, Lost Odyssey 2, Blinx 3, Battletoads, Blood Wake, Brute Force, Hydro Thunder 3, MechAssault 3, Midtown Madness IV.

Phil has been doing a great job since he took over. He reminds me of Kaz when he was running PS. You can tell both of them have a passion for their brands.

My biggest complaint about the Xbone is that they keep bleeding exclusives to the PC. This is why I still don't own one. Every major exclusive they have had has been moved to the PC, or is going to the PC, or is pretty much confirmed to be going to the PC. The brand cannot survive on Halo 5, Gears 4, Forza and indies alone. Especially if Halo 5 and Gears 4 make their ways to Windows 10. There is just no incentive at this point for me to buy an Xbone. I want to buy one, but I can't justify the $350 entry point.

I do sort of agree with some of the "I don't want a PC" arguments. Well maybe not agree but more understand. PC is generally seen as (and somewhat is) an enthusiasts platform. You have to be willing to invest more time, and money if you're doing it right, into PC gaming than consoles and there is a huge market of people out there who don't fit that bill but want to play the latest AAA games.

Microsoft should absolutely support PC with MS first party games, in fact if they had any sense (and at the moment I think they do) they would be trying to integrate PC and Xbox into a mutually supporting system. After all they make Windows (worth billions more than Xbox) and windows runs a huge majority of PC's in the world today. The fact that they don't is one of the most baffling business models I can think of. Who makes their own company competition for themselves?

Theres lots of ppl who don't own 2 systems, let alone more than that. Chances are...the PS4 is the place where they are getting most if not all of their gaming needs.

i gave you a simple reason, more games rated more highly than on X1. You have better resolution. Games running better. PS Plus is better than Games with Gold, you can play free-to-play games for free and you don't need to pay for PS Plus for mmo's in general, the controller is good, good discounts every week, what more do you want me to say?

I remember when Microsoft tried to hype Ryse saying it was a good new IP, and that they thought it was a fun game when they had a playable version before release.

where have you been? they already remade the original fable, it's call Fable anniversary on Xbox 360 and it's the lost chapters version not the original which is 30% larger, they used the unreal engine to re do the graphics as well.

With the games I see coming for Xbone, it makes me glad I own one. Now, about bc, gimme Fallout NV please.

Being a weaker system does not equate to bad engineering, bad engineering is when something fails to work or fails to Work well enough to achieve what they want, the Xbone may be weaker then the Ps4 but it is a well built well engineered console.

Good Xbox news are also generally good PC news.

I feel somewhere out there is pending Yukio Futatsugi announcement for either a Panzer Dragoon HD game or Crimson Dragon RPG, then once that's announced he'll announce he's taking the reigns on Phantom Dust remake as its original and proper creator.

I've a feeling MS and Grounding are saving the announcement after they shot their holiday 2015 load and people are looking onto the 2016 horizon. Plus, I'm sure Darkside wouldn't appreciate the news coming so soon and it's probably better to announce that stuff when nobody is left to scream bloody murder.

If you don't like what we know or have seen about Quantum Break, Scalebound, Crackdown, Ashen, Recore, Cuphead, Sea of Tieves then no there isn't anything for you. But to act like there aren't new games coming is ridiculous.

@The_Last_Ride: But you do realize you cannot use cloud save syncing without PS+ while on Xbox Live you don't need to have Gold and you have unlimited storage while on PSN you have a limit?

Besides with backward compatibility and Games with Gold set to be backwards compatible and permanent ownership of 360 titles, GWG might get an edge coz essentially you'd get 4 games for Xbone.

Oh and there's finally a high budget AAA game given away for GWG that has eclipsed everything released on PS+ so far.

BC is in beta and the fact you can play 360 games on Xbox One is a positive thing you cant bring remasters to the whole 360 catalogue. I wont play many but the fact you can gives those that asked for it what they wanted.

With BC it wont be long before you can buy more games for Xbox One than PS4. There is plenty to do on Xbox One.

If you where that bothered about resolution you would be best to buy a PC to play Witcher 3 and Batman (when fixed).
