Yes its nice, its just not worth the extra $$$$

Custom res helps and is a far cheaper alternative.

Yeah, I've been fooling with that recently on my monitor. Only thing is it makes everything incredibly small and it leaves black bars on the sides of my screen. The pixel density was crazy though

I think my screen is just abnormally wide. It does it regardless
