Man I think next year I'm gonna create a fake CoD trailer just to see fans go ape ****.
The visuals would be too simple to replicate (noise controlled splines, wireframe buildings, extruded text with a self illuminating green mat), then simply get some conflict audio in the background and come up with a predictable tag-line.
Seriously, the hardest part would be finding a Russian dude to sound sleezy at the end lol.

Do a trailer now! Seeing the reactions would be priceless!
From what I could tell, he said Один...уничтожит вражную надежду на побеждение.
I'll have to listen again, but it translates as "One will destroy the enemy's hope unto defeat." I'll have another listen, because he might have said instead "Alone, destroy the enemy's hope unto defeat."
Now this is really starting to worry me...People are hating just for the sake of it  I mean...Its.A.Teaser.What did you expect?

Haters should read the first comment on that trailers comment section, couldnt have summed it up myself :P.. i hope it comes after uncharted 3

They have released enough games this gen to show what their mindset is as far as gameplay, functionality, and quality is. Why should anyone give this game the benefit of the doubt when each iteration of this series, this gen, has been worse than the one before it?
Again they are playing on the ridiculous premise that mainland USA could ever come under attack. I'm sorry but terrorist groups and the like don't have, and never will have 1/1000th of the resources to launch meaningful military action on the United States.gamebreakerz__
It's not a terrorist organization, it's the Russian military (presumably). And they definitely have the resources to launch a major offensive, although the U.S. would have seen their forces mobilizing long before they ever struck the mainland and wouldn't have been blindsided like it portrays in MW2. Not by today's current technological capabilities.
Maybe something that wasn't both extremely predictable and generic? I mean seriously, the green waving line thing with just the 3, USA vs random Russian enemy who somehow have acquired the trillions of dollars necessary to launch military action on the USA. Come on.Now this is really starting to worry me...People are hating just for the sake of it  I mean...Its.A.Teaser.What did you expect?

Appearently,a "cave men" aka Osama Bin Laden can do just that.I'm pretty sure with the US Goverment could convince people that al Qaeda could take 20 US commercial planes, get them back to Afganistan mountains, fill them with "crazy, smart and evil" terrorists and just drop them of on each side of US and take over the USA.They would of course have to save American people and bring peaca, democracy and prosperity to Middle East countries. After those terrorist actions on World's Police soil :)
Lmao, so funny seeing all the comments just pop up. I added mine in there just to fuel the fire, although I hate CoD and what it's become. :PNow this is really starting to worry me...People are hating just for the sake of it  I mean...Its.A.Teaser.What did you expect?

You think a game that you've seen none of is better than a game with a ton of trailers already out with gameplay? Isn't that a little illogical?[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"]Again they are playing on the ridiculous premise that mainland USA could ever come under attack. You do realize there is a difference between a few planes hitting buildings than a full scale military invasion? And the fact Bin Laden was not a 'cave man', he had hundreds of millions of dollars built off his family's construction empire.[QUOTE="finalstar2007"][QUOTE="mD-"]

Funny thing is,I don't even play COD for MP.I enjoyed COD 4 campaing the most of all shooters this gen, same with Black Ops.Its very linear, fast and "filmic".It may not be everyones cup of tea but their pacing and gameplay satisfies me for a few days every year :)

I prefer to be an optimist and believe that the actual rulers in our day and age have their wits about them to not incite complete nuclear fallout. But America would definitely retalliate in full military force and do whatever it could to defend its borders and decapitate whatever body was governing their opponent.

It would be fun, but it would also take some time I'm not willing to spend right now. Plus I'd have to stop by the bar and find some drunk to immitate an angry Russian lol.

Well, to be honest, it was a lame teaser. I mean come on, New York has ALREADY BEEN DONE. Compared to all the competition out there like Battlefield and Uncharted that have already shown their prowess inshowcasing stunning gameplay, MW3's reveal trailer was pretty weak, and I don't think that MW3 will have what it takes to be great. Of course sales will still go through the roof, just because its COD...Why is everyone saying this is so lame? I mean it's a teaser trailer for goodness sake.

I thought the campaigns were pretty awful personally. Too linear, too much non-gameplay with cutscenes that are all flash and no substance, and not enough actual gameplay variety.
CoD 4 was the only decent one, but then again I still didn't like it that much because of all the invisible walls, respawning enemies and non-existent AI.
And don't even get me started on the implausibility and plot hole ridden stories.
[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"][QUOTE="Basinboy"]And the fact that if Russia ever attacked mainland USA they would have the sh*t nuked out of their entire country within minutes. They would? lol Of course, if the Russian military sent ground troops to kill innocent United States civilians (which they would never do, it's a ridiculous suggestion), then the the US government would destroy any threat to their people by destroying Russia. It's not a terrorist organization, it's the Russian military (presumably). And they definitely have the resources to launch a major offensive, although the U.S. would have seen their forces mobilizing long before they ever struck the mainland and wouldn't have been blindsided like it portrays in MW2.
