Why do cows keep on hyping this game. It's obviously crap, and probably always will be. I'll admit the trailers do look good, but making a good game is completely different from making a good game trailer.
A few other points.
If a game is being previewed it will never be shown in a negative manner. It's is a rule of game journalism that you never say something negative about a game that isn't released.
Screen shots do not give a accurate portrayal of actual graphics. Expect screen shots to show the best possible situation and hide all the negative aspects of a game. Some developers even create special screenshot textures, and engines to make a game look way better then it ever will once it is released. (gameplay movies also tend to follow this pattern)

Who called Killzone 2 a Halo killer? That dream died after Killzone's first review. The game is hyped because of the trailer, of course. But not as much as lemmings would have you believe. Lemmings love to resurrect old hype to prove some kind of ridiculous point.

Only if Molyneux finally implements all those ideas he's been promising (i.e. not too damned likely). Molyneux is the Kutaragi of game development: over-promising and under-delivering.

please..no. i still remeber when fable was being hype as "the best RPG ever" by alot of lemmings..i was one of the few lemmings on the board bashing fable at the time of its release because i really didnt understand why the hyped kept getting stronger when more and more news were releasing stating the game was missing alot features that were promised.
i know that there are alot of jokes about killzone 2. I am not excited about it either. HOwever, I hope they take this doubt and turn it into productivity and motivation to surprise us.

Where can I get that spawn. The only Spawn I found was this tiny one from the SNES game. That game was good but he sucked in MUGEN.

Yes, but there's no time to rest between inputting actions, basically, expect the fastest turn based battles ever. Versus 13 on the other hand is real time like Kingdom Hearts.

Fable was amazing if you just ignored the hype... It averaged an AA at Gamerankings actually. The hype did hurt it a lot, and it was a good game, but it wasn't anything sensational. It had major problems which had nothing to do with the hype; it was far too linear and short and the levelling system had quite a few flaws in promoting pure specialisation and being complex. Most of that has nothing to do with the hype of features like child raising and other roaming heroes whom you compete with that was originally planned.

Fable is under-rated. I really enjoyed Fable, the only thing that disappointed me was the fact that it was too short. It was a great game and I can't wait for the second one. The only RPG's I've enjoyed more were Morrowind and Oblivion. I've never played a FF game but thats because turn-based combat doesn't appeal to me, but if I ever get a PS3 I'll try FF13, because I've heard that 12 didn't have turn-based and 13 wont either.

Ya, count me out on FFXIII because I hate turn-based combat. How do you guys have fun with that? I don't care if it has the greatest story or graphics whatever, at the end of the day i'm looking for solid gameplay and FFXIII ain't what I'm looking for. I will try out FFXII, because it's like Kingdom Hearts I guess. So, ya I'll probably like Fable 2 better, I guess.
Btw, have the devs confirmed that FFXIII will be turn-based?

Right didnt Peter M. promise everything he is promising for the second game in the first as well. If I remember didnt the first game do none of what it was supposed to do other than you could scare villiagers if you got a bunch of tatoos. I am very skeptikal about Fable 2 as I considered the 1st one a flop. It was my most anticipated title for the XBOX.
The fun part was Guerilla never mentioned Killzone 1 to be a halo killer. Guess who did..... the media.
No one is saying Killzone 2 will be a halo killer either. It's kinda hard to kill a franshise that's on a different system. But trust me that the media once again will try to spin this to a Halo killer when we reach near the release of the game.

But this time mr. Molyneux has shown on videos that at least some of the promised features are in the game. So I think Fable 2 will be the game that first Fable should've been.
The only thing KZ2 is going to kill is itself..and TMLO stop bumping year old threads moderators can still see the messages even if you deleted the post.
