[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="mD-"]and which game is working with a higher install base? :| Install base is a factor no doubt. But it's not the only one. I think that if the Wii was a traditionally hardcore system with a lesser casual base, Brawl could still sell a lot. You know Gran Turismo 3 sold millions more than GT4. Well the way i was looking at it was that Melee was about on the same sales result as Halo 2(maybe Halo 2 won that one) with the XBOX having a slightly higher install base.Super Smash Bros BRawl is going to outsell Halo 3, lol. Look at both their sales. Which game has been out a year longer?

SO Brawl theoretically should outsell Halo 3 when the Wii is basically god like status in sales, and 360 is just doing solid. Brawl outselling Halo 3 isn't that shocking(although it still has to outsell it), a larger install base for what is arguably one of the Wii's biggest games isn't shocking. Especially such a popular Nintendo franchise.
As for GT 3, i think that had alot to do with GT 3 being bundled later on its lifecycle. Who knows why though, maybe it was competition from other racers when GT 4 came out, maybe it was other factors. I just know that SSBB outselling Halo 3 just isn't shocking in anyway , to me atleast.
