Killzone 2 can't even dream of taking out Halo 3. Halo 3 is the most played game on live for starters. Then there was all of the ads on TV,internet, basically everwhere. There is also the Halo books. They even had the countdown to Halo 3 on G4 where it showed thousands of people in line all across America. I don't even here anybody in real life talk about KZ2.

No it won't, I wish it could but i won't. Although i believe it will do very well, it won't dethrone the crapfest that is halo or gears. it's a shame...w0lfbreeder

As a franchise, def not. halo has evolved into a over commercialized franchise over the years and is everywhere...halo: commercialization evolved...unless it become uber popular and sells 8 Million copies in like 2 weeks, then Killzone will become the face of FPS..

But as a game, its will definitely dethrone that JOKE Halo 3 was. Accually what the hell am i saying, halo 3 has been dethrone by COD4, Crysis and Resistance 2(its multiplayer blows away Halos and i liked its campaign more) etc already... but KZ2 will hopefully dethrone anything that has the crown currently.

Ok Killzone is getting some good press. Some would even say the best press any game has gotten this generation. Now if Killzone 2 does get AAA scores across the board will it be the genre defining FPS for this generation we have all been waiting for? Will Killzone 2 be the FPS that all developers and their children try to mimic for years to come. Killzone has the graphics that no game this generation even comes close to duplicating.(on consoles) Killzones multiplayer is just unrivaled it has some crazy clan support set up that no other developer this generation has even come close to implementing. Killzone also has the best animations of any game to date it's just crazy how you shoot someone and their limbs move in that certain areas. So can Killzone 2 dethrone the al mighty Halo?jakarai

Who gives a crap about being the best exclusive? Most of the best games are multiplats anyway. Halo is lame and Killzone 2 looks like a lame rebuttal.

Yes easily with me. Halo 3 was poo. I sold it, played multiplayer twice, beat the game and thats it. Im sick on green armoured faceless men fighting rainbow colored alians.. its corny and im through with Halo seriously. KZ2 is more Gears of War with Cod4 mixed in with SUPERPOWAHED graphics. o, yea! That's why halo:ce is so many times in someones top ten list! More then any other FPS ( though even with half-life 2)!

That's why halo 3 is the most played online game and FPS on consoles!

Halo:ce got 9.7, halo 2 and 3 9.4 and 9.5!

For killzone to dethrone it, it has to get a 10! And even then it isn't going to leave the same impression halo:ce made for console FPS's

depends if KZ2 sells over 6 million copies and gets positive/great reviews then we can consider it the best FPS available on consoles... as much as i enjoyed Halo3 it was way overrated and hype came from success in previous instalments in the series... I think KZ2 should focus more on beating the quality/success of fps games such as COD4 & WAW, Crysis (in quality/gameplay since visuals are impossible to surpass it)... as regards Halo3 it just needs online modes/ community to be of equal or better quality than Halo3..

I know many xbox360 fans will disagree but in reality Halo3 is a very overrated fps game... Great game but still overrated !!!
