All of these are coming to Playstation owners only. Then there's the myriad of multi-plats and indies on the way. Simply astonishing. I think I rest my case here, SW. You need a PS4 in 2016.

I look forward to some of those being the reason for a PS4 in 2017

Depends, Sony is notorious for releasing games that are either flatout bad or unfinished, 2016 could just as easily be the year of the NX or the PC, we shall see.

Horizon is an action RPG that is bound to give you dozens of hours of playing time.

Uncharted 4 will have a multiplayer component that will encourage more gameplay.

Persona 5 is going to be 50 hours long, at the very least.

Gran Turismo is a racing sim, the genre begs large amounts of playing time.

Is that Gran Turismo a full game or a preview like GT5 prologue? Uncharted does have multiplayer although I don't like it.

I wish Sony would bring back its old ips like Socom, Twisted Metal, Jak, Syphon Filter, Wipeout, Motorstorm, these games would look awesome on PS4

Even if qb somehow is on par with uncharted it will jot be as popular. And then gears basiclly said there not aiming for bar setting gameplay by stating they want gears to be a graphical showcase. Sounds like the order all over again.

And then Horizon is already really popular out of most exclusives... there just no hope kinda. On a mass scale it will be ps4 year but if you rather xbone it wont phase you and game you used to caring about are still coming

It's obvious that you know nothing of the game beyond what you're seen in screenshots or heard of in passing. The gameplay videos show tonnes of RPG mechanics, not to mention the fact that the developers themselves have come out and said that it's an RPG and that it is influenced heavily by TW3- their words, not mine.

PC already got 4 AAA reviewed games on Gamespot this year.

Plus, it has the definitive edition of Dying Light: The following, which IMO is the best game of the year so far.

It's the year of the PC. If you're talking about 2nd place, I'd agree with the PS4 since Scalebound got delayed. Still excited for Quantam Break more than any other game though.

Every year was PS4 year up till now. The system without too much effort pulverizing sales wise competition , is not even funny.

Aside that ,exclusive wise , 2016 is strong.

Yes it is an expansion pack and I'll buy it next month. Got too many games to play as it is and I love Dying Light, killing Zombies never get's old, it's The Walking Dead style for me.

The PS4 has my most anticipated game of the year in Uncharted 4, but that is about the only thing I'm excited for in 2016 for the PS4 at the moment. I think overall the Wii U currently has the most exclusives that I'm looking forward to in 2016 with two Zelda games, Mario/Sonic Olympics, and StarFox Zero.

Yup, it's easily the most interesting out of the big 3 this year.

Nintendo close 2nd for Zelda alone.

And @davillain-: I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. The Following just has so many new, interesting, fun and unique ways to kill zombies. When a game does it right, I definitely agree that murdering zombies never gets old ^^

Uncharted 4 and PSVR look like utter garbage and I'm not into car sims but the rest of those look interesting.

The major games this year are SFV, Dark Souls 3, and Zelda.

It's a good looking year for PS4, no doubt.

Personally though, none of those upcoming games have the same appeal to me as last years Bloodborne.

Damn you!!! your so right about this. Either delays or incomplete shit. Lets hope lessons learned and that ps4 developments has grown by now and sony knows that media and consumer tolerance is low for incomplete shit. Some of those 2014, 2015 games had great concepts but shot themselves on foot, Bloodborne came correct though. UC4 and P5 were from that period so lets hope they are a sure thing for 2016. Gran Turismo Sports will be Street Fighter 5 level of disappointment though, which is sad cause talent and vision will be top notch.

Not for me. Ratchet and Clank was fun back in the day, but I'm not purchasing a console to play it. I simply do not like Uncharted and believe it's overrated. The Last Guardian looks outdated and should have been left for dead. **** is Gravity Rush? Persona, no.

Why are people still bragging about PSVR? It looks like utter dog shite. If I ever go vr I will not be going the gimped route.

I think the X1 was better in 2013, 2014, 2015, and how Sony PS4 is off to a bad start with SFV, and how I think there will be a lot of delays, plus since I don't have a gaming PC QB, Gears 4, Cuphead, and Inside I think the X1 is looking better this year to me too.

Definitely looks to be a cool year for the PS4.

PS4 and 3DS will probably be the bulk of my gaming time this year.
