Can we establish God of War 3>Uncharted 2, in the graphics department *56k*?

here are some direct feed screenshots from the opening segment of God of War 3, taken from an HDTV:

there's no "GOW 3 takes Uncharted 2 by a slight edge.", it's flat out "GOW 3 takes Uncharted 2."

IMO,NO.Thing that UC2 has better are:animations,art style,consistency and even textures.But its pretty close...

I haven't played Uncharted 2, but there are some instances in GoW3 where I thought the game was flat out ugly... bad textures, etc.

GOW3 is not even close in topping UC2...

It's going to be difficult to change overall SW consensus on Console graphics king. People don't like to change their opinion.

If GOW3 is better than I don't know why people hyped up Uncharted's graphics in the first place.

I'm currently playing through God of War 3, and there not really anything special. I have yet to play Uncharted 2. I'd be pretty disappointed if they weren't better than GoW3's graphics though.

UC2 looks better overall. Look at the Clouds in the cutscene when kratos is talking to Zues at the begining and see the horrible looking animations.

God of War III looks great, but some of the secondary or tertiary characters look down right terrible compared to Kratos.

Take Aphrodite's mistresses as examples, their character models are terrible.

I'm playing GOW3 and wow, it looks phenominal, there are parts that look heads and shoulder above u2, but I havent finished the game yet so, I'll hold my judgement

And imo I think Uncharted 2 looks better. GoW3 has so awesome looking scale but up close things can get pretty ugly.

Titans are hard to do but not so hardware costly,but so was UC2 train.Its hack and slash and thats why it is 45 fps average,others tend to be 60fps.MLAA is again technique that more devs will use on ps3 cus it takes load of gpu but again if you have spu time to spare why not.

It probably would but then it would dip lower then 30 fps.Almost all hack and slash games are 60fps,but since SM wanted good graphics they had to tone it down by notch...anyway it looks and plays great so its not important...

GOW III is MAYBE technically better,but its still hack and slash with controllable camera...Anyway,Crysis 2 and RAGE will demolish everything on consoles,just month to go till E3 :D

BTW,i find RDR to be on of best looking games on consoles,and its open world game.It has animations neck and neck with UC2.

here are the previews,praise is unbelievable.Best and most crisp textures on consoles by some margin,thx to mastermind that is Carmack.And those trailers you watched are very,very old.Game is not even in alpha now,year ago it was very early.

EDIT: I agree that GoW 3 > UC2. UC2's missing normal mapping in a lot of places, the character in-game models don't look as detailed, and from what I've seen, it has a heavier reliance on skyboxes.

Those are AWFUL screenshots of Crysis/Warhead. Any picture in TC's post looks better than those. And there are plenty of parts in GoWIII that look as good as this:

Like I said Hermits can be the best or worst. I asked for help building a rig and everyone was very nice and helpful about it, but there are ones like you who think they know everything.

GOW3 can look as good as some places in crysis, No game has perfect graphics all around, but the vast majority of crysis looks better, but some parts yes it is ugly and half life 2 looks better.

I don't even see how GoW3 competes at it's very, very best. You are entitled to your opinion of course, but I'm just going to go ahead and disagree. Strongly.
