Gears 3 looks like an amazing shooter, significantly beyond my hype.

it can't singlehandedly save the 360 though and ps3 has it thoroughly beat in regards yo consistency, imho.

If Gears 3 ends up being just as popular as Gears 1 was or Halo 3 was, then I might think about buying another 360.

But a certain game has to win GOTY , rite ?

What a stupid qustion, this is the only title that's interessting on the x360 this year so far while I had a blast on PS3 and Pc. Also we'll never find a winner for any year because it's up to opinion

The year is not over. Also, does no one remember that Mario Sports Mix and the Conduit 2 flopped? And that the highest scoring game on the 3DS is still an 8.5?

Oh, and Cow4ever needs to be banned.

The 360 has always been a winner! The only game this year that's worth turnning on my PS3 is Uncharted.

Yes could be. Although IGN practically gives a 9 to most games. I think Metacritic is a better measure of a game's quality since it gets an average and kind of factors out biased sites.

Uncharted 3 and Skyword Sword haven't even come out. Hold your horses, it's only September.
