Anyways, RE is completely off my radar, Evil Within is what I'm looking out for.

On the entire RE franchise I only liked the 4th one.

Maybe the horror comes from the destruction of their franchises, and the survival idea is that you can make it through another lost franchise without going on a shooting rampage.

Do people even care about the Resident Evil games in the sense they have an attachment to the story, characters, the gameplay? Because RE4 is regarded as the best RE game out there, and Shinji Mikami directed it, and I've faith he'll blow us away with Evil Within; why aren't people more stoked for that?lamprey263

Pretty much lost interest in RE last games I really liked were Zero and the remake on the Gamecube, 4 and revelations where ok but 5 and 6 where awful.
