He wasn't particularly deep or interesting, but I hated it when Garza died in Killzone 2. With him dead, the only people left in Alpha Squad were the two most annoying butt holes in the universe--Natko and Rico.
Persona 3 FES when the main character dies. The ending was actually very nice and then when i loaded up FES i found out he died! One of my biggest oh snap moments in gaming. Im not that far into FES so il see how it goes.
On my first playthrough of Portal, an energy ball ricocheted off the Weighted Companion Cube and hit me...:evil: Needless to say, I enjoyed watching it BURN! :twisted: It didn't happen on subsequent playthroughs so I forgave it, but I shall never forget that one time...
Anyhow, from this gen of games, I'd go with Eli Vance and Ben Carmine. That's right. Carmine.

Same here. It is the only game to ever make me cry.
Aerith (or Aeris if you like it better), Wanda or wanderer (if he really die, is not so clear at the end of the game). But the character I'm most upset to see die is.... ME IN ANY GAME!

Well, to be fair, I think his time had come.
His face in Halo 3 looked a little... messed up, don't you think? A bit like he may have picked up a crack addiction (or something) between 2 and 3, you know?

not only were they annoying but they were stupid and f ing useless.The fight with Radec was tough as hell because Rico would just stand there with his thumb up his bum expecting me to take on all the helghast by myself and heal him when his n00b self gets owned.

Haha true. Then again, all the human characters looked pretty messed up, especially Lord Hood. I know old people have wrinkles but god dayum.

I'll say... [spoiler] Nariko from Heavenly Sword took me by surprise... but I wish Nathan Hale didnt die in Resistance 2. I hope he comes back for R3, even if turns into a Chimera... I bet he's not dead myself. They could have at least let him die in battle trying to save somebody instead of getting shot in the face by a fellow soldier. Not that I REALLY liked Nathan... just thought there was more to explore with his character. [/spoiler]
