With current gen cards you probably will be running that benchmark at under 20 FPS and the next gen cards will probably get around 30. Next gen cards will probably cost atleast $500 + cost of the other hardware to go along with the card. Sure, I won't lie, PC graphics will accel ahead of console graphics. But as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. And for the $300 I paid for my 360 and $275 I paid for my PS3, I'm quite satisfied with their graphics.EXLINK

Well it's a spaceship, space sims always look great because there aren't that many objects to render ..cause space is empty... Also it's a benchmark. But it still does look fabolous, and a good example of where we are heading in the next couple of years.

Oh and it does looks a lot better than any current space sim.

Bragging about the graphics in a tech demo seems kinda silly to me. And sure that ship looks ridiculous, but it's just one ship in a bunch of nothingness. Like I said, it's a tech demo. No different than the Molina head.

Show me an actual game with those visuals, then I'll be impressed.

I could care less if you hadent heard of most does games, if you didnt even know that PC's could do HD, than nobody expects you to have actually heard about some of the PC's best games, like Company of Heroes, STALKER, the Witcher...etc.

Expansions count by the rules of system wars.. And most could care less what you think "people care about" because as it stands your some poster on the forums.. Like it or not it isn't fair to say that the PC's have gotten nothing when we have given you direct evidence of the PC having the most long term and short term (this gen) of games for a very long time.. Just because it isn't hyped doesn't mean people do not play it...

What a nerdy answer and that is why even though I play PC games(Crysis, The Witcher, and STALKER) I refuse to be part of your little click cause you act like know it alls or something. Playing computer games don't make you any smarter than console ones.

I like the 360 community cause I play with my offline buddies and we have a blast on XBL. In the PC community as you call it people are not as quick to be social as on XBL. As far as bad people go I can handle them and if they play muisc or something which doesn't happen often I got handy mute feature

Yes. The those Intel makes 64 bit processors, including the one you have. Also, your specs are meaningless without showing your video card. Do this... go to Start->Run, type "dxdiag" and take a screenshot of the System and Display tabs. What you screenshotted means nothing.

I'll let you in on a little secret. From the PS1 up to the Xbox 360 I was what you would call a hermit cause I loved online gaming. I played stuff on the consoles but couldn't get in to it like PC gaming online. Now I enjoy XBL more than anything and it's good to see consoles come this far.Truffle-Shuffle

Yes but alot of times you have to keep muting EVERY game because in communities such as Halo 3 you are over run by annoy 10 year olds.. And there are quite a few great pc programs out there that you can chat with friends.. Xfire is one of them.. And it also just depends with the game as well. I will give it to you Xboxlive for most is more accessable, but it isn't exactly hard to plug in a USB mic into the computer.. Install Xfire, and chat with friends..

Sure all you need is a 10k PC.. But lets be serious, games wont look like that for years even on the PC. There probably will be this one game, thats 5 hours long and will take about 5 years to make. But thats all your getting from the photo realistic genre, there will never be a constant flow of these graphicaly perfect games just 1 every so many years. Hermits will be sat on there high horses telling us how Crysis is the best graphics for years to come but not actually getting anymore of these games. Theres only so many times you can play Crysis hermits.Dahaka-UK

You mean Murphy's law. I see consoles taking over and sales are proving me correct. It's just a matter of time before PC gaming dies down to a crawl. I don't care what people have been saying for years about PC gaming dying. The Xbox 360 with XBL is the future and the next Xbox I will buy from day one. I won't be upgrading my PC anymore unless it starts to bog down on me.

I do believe the list was already given to you. As for scoring better on the 360, I think I can pull out the typical "standards" argument. As for sales, well I don't care.

I don't understand your fixation on demeaning the PC's lineup. It has consistently produced more, quality games than any console has, and your oversimplifications of the lineup don't erase that fact.

Sales aren't proving you right, especially since the NPD JUST announced they don't include online distribution, and thats its a criticalfactor. As a matter of fact, the recent numbers showed the PC accounted for 14% of the industry prior to DD. Add on the fact that in 2004, DD accounted for over 25% of Valve's dividends. That number, growing exponentially, could now accoutn for over half. Guess what? That means the PC accounts for appox: 23% of the overall industry, maybe even more. 23% of how many? Yeah, doesn't seem to be dying any time soon. You can cry wolf all you want, you'rew rong.Vandalvideo

Exactly. As a matter of fact, I've yet to buy a game at a store for 2 years. Most recently Crysis was bought online, and as we speak I am downloading Lord of the Rings: Online for $20 from their DD site.
