I have to agree that content-wise, it sounds to be one of the best value first-person shooters (available on consoles), alongside the Halo games and Resistance 2.
I've noticed camping is much worse in BO. In MW2 campers wouldn't have the highest score, but in BO they're constantly getting the most kills and there really isn't much you can do to stop them.

Best value FPS package ever? That'll be the Orange Box, which has Half-Life 2, both episodes, Portal and Team Fortress 2, all for $60, now much less Best multiplayer ever? That'll be Halo 2, Bad Company 2, Counterstrike, Quake III or Team Fortress 2 Best FPS ever? That'll be Half-Life 1 or 2, Bioshock, Metroid Prime, Doom, etc. etc. you get my point It's not even the best CoD game, CoD 1, 2, 4 and 5 were better.
Reminds me of how every time the latest decent blockbuster comes out loads of people go "IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER!", having seen about 10 movies total that year.
No. The online is pretty much broken. They need to get dedicated servers, and GREATLY improve on the hit detection and bullet penetration system. They need to balance the killstreaks (RC car, invisible napalm glitch), and fix the knifing (everyone has commando) and the continuity of the amount of health people have.
How he's threads get so many posts, wen most here know what threads he made in the past, is beyond me. Is a ludicrous claim & a battle of contradictions the only thing that sparks a disscusion around forums these days?
Black ops gets alot of undeserved critisism. Everyone seems to hate it though itis atleast a descent game. One of my best gaming experiences in a long time. What really dissapointed me was the graphics and animations in multiplayer looked like call of duty 1 almost! The campaign was very good and solid and good graphics but for some reason this wasn't the case for the online. Besides that it's a really good game, people complane too much.
EDIT: Just FYI this was the first COD game I ever played except COD 1 which I got from the psn. If it matters.
actually, no, its much more improved...specially in the camping aspect...the game is completly biased against campers
Agreed. It's one of the bigger reasons why I like it so much. I happen to dislike campers... more than satan. So it's great to find a game that seems to hate them as much as I do :lol:
Not the greatest...but its by no means the worst. I think Black Ops is the best in the series (Mainly because I wasn't able to play the first CoD and the second I only played demos of.)
