For an actual compaign that fleshed out the story, I'd give it slightly to Halo above CoD. Killzone was just 'go in and kill them', and it automatically gets points taken off for one of the worst characters in videogame history: Rico.
I can't believe he's actually a soldier expecially when he just barges into *SPOILER* *SPOILER**SPOILER**SPOILER**SPOILER**SPOILER**SPOILER**SPOILER* the place where garza was held an just shot everything without thinking and wounding Garza......and all he said afterwards was" teh, whatever I saved your *** didn't I?"For an actual compaign that fleshed out the story, I'd give it slightly to Halo above CoD. Honestly, I cant believe KZ2 got a 9.0 by GS. The graphics are gorgeous but the storyline and campaign are just horribad. darthkirmy
Totally disagree. The environments, sounds, gunplay, cover system and enemy AI are all top notch. Cant say the same for some other games.
I didn't like CoD4's campaign at all. Unlimited enemies killed it for me.
Killzone 2 was fun the first time through, but the lack of variety in the environments, enemies, and just ways to approach a battle killed it for me the second time through.
Halo 3's campaign may not have the graphics or the set pieces, but it's still fun to play years after it came out for one reason: gameplay variety. I'm not one of those people that worships Halo 3, but I do think it's pretty great, and out of those choices, it had the best campaign in my opinion.

The AI is pretty good but everything else has been done before and done better.[QUOTE="darthkirmy"]Honestly, I cant believe KZ2 got a 9.0 by GS. The graphics are gorgeous but the storyline and campaign are just horribad. Uptown

The environments on Killzone are stunning, and people will say "graphics shouldn't matter in a game," but the artists for Killzone put a LOT of work and energy into creating it and it shows, viseral, gritty, amazing.
The story for Killzone is decent, it's not "bad" like people say it is, maybe a little simple, but it's fair, however, it works. Killzone in general is so brutal, it's hard to dissent it. The game has realistic written all over it, so when people bash it, it makes me wonder if they have even played it.

The AI is pretty good but everything else has been done before and done better.I have never seen AI in a console FPS better than KZ2. I have never seen a cover system in an FPS better than KZ2. I have never seen graphics/environments in a console FPS better than KZ2. Tell me what exactly has been done before and been done better? Because I cant think of much. Killzone 2 is one of the most polished FPS games I've ever played.

Completely agree with you.
I thought it was unoriginal and tasteless. Here lets do the copy and paste routine because we cant think of anything newer and more exciting. Oh and I vote for none. Since all of them had very forgetable SP.The Warthog Run at the End of Halo 3 gave me so many memories of Halo:CE, So Halo 3 Wins.

Would also like to say that the AI in Halo, imo, is better than the AI in Killzone 2.

The AI in Halo 3 is just as good. The cover scheme in Call of Juarez is just as good. The graphics are great. However, graphics do not make a great game. So i go back to what i said before. The graphics are nice but the campaign was very mediocre.[QUOTE="SquatsAreAwesom"] The AI is pretty good but everything else has been done before and done better. readingfc_1

I'd put money on the AI on KZ2 being better than that of Halo 3. I own both of them. Halo 3's AI is only challenging on the most difficult setting and thats only because they have godlike AIM. The way the Helghast use cover, pop up from different sides of the cover (not popping up from the same spot over and over) and flank is leaps and bounds better.

Since all of them had very forgetable SP. It was part of the whole "full circle" thing that was being implemented at the end, dude. But I didn't expect you to understand that. Please Log In to post.
