[QUOTE="Killfox"][QUOTE="siddhu33"]I thought it was unoriginal and tasteless. Here lets do the copy and paste routine because we cant think of anything newer and more exciting. Oh and I vote for none. Since all of them had very forgetable SP. It was part of the whole "full circle" thing that was being implemented at the end, dude. But I didn't expect you to understand that. Why would I not understand??? I own the game chief. My gamertag is on my profile. The Warthog Run at the End of Halo 3 gave me so many memories of Halo:CE, So Halo 3 Wins.

KZ2 had the best story of all three. It was deep, moving and eye-opening. I especially liked the characterization of and dynamic between Rico and his other squad mates. His passionate spite for the Helghast and his determination to see the job through almost left me in tears. For instance, in one scene, I could only sit transfixed as Rico, in a moment of fury shouted out "Mother****errrrrrs!!" in a desperate attempt to rescue his comrades from Radec. In the character's expressions you could see the kind of emotion that is only brought out by war itself. The script only further added to the pure splendor that was already there. When one soldier shouted "Yeah! You finally got that big mother****er!" after I dramatically beat the first Helghast Heavy, it was like battlefield narrative magic in the making. KZ2's story is more than simply a story. It's an experience that will sweep nup the player and have him screaming out F-words and S-words all the time along with the characters and feel that, along with them, he/she is fighting for their lives to see a dream realized.nervmeisterYou're kidding right? I hope this is sarcasm.

This brilliant piece of storytelling about the ordeals of Sev and his fellow squadmates makes it so that you'll never look at war the same way again.
[QUOTE="darthkirmy"]Have you ever played a FPS before KZ2? nervmeisterBy "play", what do you mean exactly? Like play the whole game and beat it.

Magic? More like a cheap parlor trick.
But honestly, Killzone 2's story was pretty thin. What it did get right was the frantic warzone pacing. Halo 3's seemed just teeny bit artificial. But Halo 3 makes up for it with a more interesting storyline and the availability of online co-op.
I would even say that the first Killzone's story was more interesting that the second one.

As a stand alone story I would have to say Call of Duty 4. The plot was in constant climax and you were never sure who was going to make it out alive. Always thrilling, always fun. Halo 3 relied on the other two games (thankfully it didn't fall apart like the ending of Halo 2), but still had a solid story. Killzone 2's was pretty bland and the characters fell flat for me.
Halo 3, since it's the only that offered CO-OP which is just essential in mission-based FPS'es IMO. Killzone 2's story isn't anything special which makes everything that happens so forgettable, while COD 4 had an action-packed campaign, no CO-OP makes Halo 3 the winner.
COD4 and KZ2 story/characters were meh. I keep hearing how COD4 had a great story/characters and I wonder what those people were smoking. I cant really judge halo 3 story since part 1 bord me so I didint bother with 2 so it felt pointless to play 3 sp even though I tried. In the endI did have more fun with KZ2.
One thing that confuses me is why all the hate on KZ SP? Pacing was fine,AI was fine, levels were fine. Only thing meh was story/characters. I heard its all been done before from some users then how can they praise COD4 when its been done before to.
Yes, Call of Duty did have a familiar story line. However, the level of immersion and the elevation in which each critical moment of the plot unfolded was unprecedented. Killzone 2 (graphics and setting aside) was quite generic and since the characters were not fleshed out, nobody caredOne thing that confuses me is why all the hate on KZ SP? The AI while just as stupid as the AI in COD 4, just doesn't have some of the more thrilling sequences to make up for it. Killzone 2s formula is very COD like, but it lacks the sheer intensity that COD has always had(for me atleast). On elite it's there, but I find Elite to do what Veteran Does in COD 4. Instead of being a rewarding hard difficulty, it's just way more cheap. One thing that confuses me is why all the hate on KZ SP? Pacing was fine,AI was fine, levels were fine. WHAT!? It was a triumph in storytelling that you apparently have yet to appreciate! One that easily stands up to storylines like Mass Effect and MGS! How do you not see that?!

Ok. Just wanted to make sure it was your opinion and you werent trying to clam some fact. I personally decided to beat COD4 SP because I heard from people that the SP was OMGZORZ. I already had the game for the MP. So I said why not. I went it and left with a ok felling. All the characters were forgettable execpt soap, but thats because his name is dumb. Same reason I cant forget sev cause of the dumb name and dumb haircut. So its not really a good memorable. THe nuke thing was ok till I remembered that everyone who died in it including you had no personality so it didint leave an impact. Also the lastpart with the gun was soooooooooooo cheesy thats why it stuck out to me. IMO COD4 doesint beat KZ2 sp hand over fist. I just had a more fun time with KZ2.

No all my personal reasons for not liking Killzone 2s campaign, and enjoying COD 4s campaign more.[QUOTE="ThePRAssassin"]So what you are saying is that Halo 3 and Killzone 2 are greater than nothing and that Nothing is greater than COD 4.    :lol:Halo 3 > Killzone 2 > Nothing > COD4

Halo 3= sucked as usual and lacks story all the time
Killzone 2= was ok and picked up from the previous KZ, just more of a you had war on or turf now we will have war on yours
COD4= was pretty good how you had to hunt down terroists and and save people. I think my favorite part was the sniper mission
