Although I agree with you... I think this argument would be far better served at Wii owners. Considering the amount of consoles sold... even games like Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Brawl are really only owned by like 8% of people who have wii. The software sales are terrible, I have no clue what Wii owners do with their systems.

Well I do,,, ppl think theyre cool gettin a Wii... have friends over and play only Wii Sports (which is bundled with it).. and never really touch it again.

At least you can argue some PS3 owners only got it for the blu ray.

I will be a good boy and only play my limited edition copy of GeoW2 and have fun with only that. I bought Left4Dead, but that's not outselling GeoW2, I better burn that too. SolidTy

What the heck are you rambling on about? He never mentioned the quality of the game - indeed, he might want MORE people to buy the games because they are high quality (to him).

I don't think Resistance 2 is even out in Europe. LBP will spread through word of mouth. But above all, do you really care about sales? I find it ridiculous how people here keep bringing that up. SolidGame_basic

He's comparing a Higher Install base to a lower install base, and asking WHY? He's asking what PS3 users are playing compared to THE one insane Sales blockbuster 360 got this Xmas.

That's like comparing HALO to Uncharted last year, which exactly happened.

Heck, PS3 owners are divided on what quality game to get LBP or R2...and add that to a smaller install base...

There are far more Wii's out there, what are Wii Owners playing?

Im playing R2. Just cause its not hitting halo numbers or gears doesint mean its bad.

I'm guessing that many PS3's were sold for their BlueRay function only. All the hardcore PS3 gamers got theirs and play the games, but the number of gamers is significanly smaller than the number of systems sold as proven with game sales to console ratio.

I think some might be thinking if LBP and Resistance 2 is so great how come their sales even combined sales aren't that great compared to one game on the other HD console.   The reality is that sure the PS3 can play games too but I'm pretty sure everybody outside these gaming forums bought a PS3 for a blu ray player.  If there's one thing Sony is good advertising is they're good at advertising their blu ray movies.

There's no games left for the PS3 for the rest of the season but I'm happy they have movies like Wall E and Hancock and heck even The Dark Knight coming up.  Can't wait for those movies.

getting LBP tomorrow and once released in EU will also get R2.... probably LBP will have a sales boost for xmas time and once R2 gets released in EU we'll surely see a significant increase in sales for this title...

Right now am too busy with GEOW2 & FIFA'09, but still getting LBP since i believe its such a different type of game which is a must in everyone's games library..

as most of the time happens in your posts you let the lemming inside you take control of your thoughts and fingers when typing.... you forgot to mention that all consoles have their best games already out (both HD consoles).... also what you forget to mention is that R2 is not yet released in EU, and LBP is the kind of game which can attract gamers but maybe taking longer than expected.... I bought the 360 & PS3 for games, but one of them being a blu-ray player and not having to spend money on the obsolete HD-DVD add-on is a plus....

atm am looking forward to get L4D & Fable2 for my 360 and LBP,R2, Valkyria Chronicles & Motorstorm2 for my PS3, so seems like both have a lot to offer to gamers..
