Yes, Sony loves me, I'm pretty sure Sony would give so much love for you as well if you buy a PS3!

The thing is, Sony would love you so much that even they would even put their financial stat at risk just so they could show how much they care for their customers. :)

And sorry to disappoint you lemmboy cuz I invest my money wisely on reliable and more valued items rather than spent them on ripoffs such as having to pay extra for unnecessary things that you'd find somewhere else for free.

Cows should be concerned with the sales of a game if they like the quality of said game. If people don't buy the game and dev don't make profit they'll release the game on another console, and probably make a multiplat game next time. Namco knows PS3 is a sinking ship and that's why they put Ace Combat 6 on 360 and Tekken 6:D.

PS3 problem is some people bought they system as just a blu-ray player. I have 2 friends that have done this. 360 main system PS3 blu-ray player and every now and then they'll rent something for the PS3 to see what the fuss is about i.e. LBP and R2 are just not worth owning especially since you can pretty much keep a game for a 4 weeks at Blockbuster for like $7.50

As a 3 system owner I find it crazy the gap in sales that the PS3 is experiencing software wise. LBP + R2 sales-to-date don't even match GeoW2's first week sales in NA. Absolutely pathetic. What are you all doing with you PS3s?AdmiralDan

It doesn't matter if the TC is using VGchartz or just using logic. Games on the PS3 are not selling as well as games on the 360, fact. As for R2 not being released out side of NA doesn't matter, it still will not sell all that great. MGS4 considered to be the best game on PS3 has sold over 3 millions right maybe pusing 3.5. That's not that great for one of the best games on the system. Most, if not all multiplats sell better on the 360, as they should there is a larger user base.

All the TC was saying is there are 2 really great games out LBP and R2 and as of right now there sales combined haven't even touched that of GeoW2. He wasn't comparing anything, just stating a fact as of right now. What are PS3 owners doing with their PS3 watching a slightly better version of a movie that they could get cheaper on DVD, is the answer.

Another interesting thing to look at if you like to look at VGchartz which I don't advise you to I don't really hold them that high, but the 360 has 48 games that have sold over a million copies, and the PS3 has 17 games that have sold over a million. Which console would you rather develop for??? While I don't hold VGchartz that high, there stuff can't be too far off and that still a huge gap give or take 10 games for each system

Well in my opinion if there is any aspect of Resistance 2 that is better than Gears 2 it would be the multiplayer, i thought the original Resistance multiplayer was better than the original Gears multiplayer, and even though i've only heard that Resistance 2 has 60 capable online multiplayer but i haven't played it yet, i'm sure it's probably the same this time around too. Unfortunately the PS3 has more serious problems than Resistance 2 sales quantities.

I do believe the sales have been slipping for Blu-ray as well, but I could almost guarantee you that most of the Blu-ray sales are going to PS3 owners, since it is/was the cheapest blu-ray player for a while.

Although I think it's walmart that is selling a BR player for like $200 or something crazy so maybe BR sales will start to pick up. Cause if BR fails all is lost for PS3, and I wouldn't like that because I'm really interested in that Twisted Metal title they are supposed to be working on.

This is neither here nor there, however, because no matter how many copies MGS4 sells it has no bearing on my original topic which is the poor showing that R2 and LBP have had. And to those of you saying that R2 hasn't been released outside of NA - I Know! Is it not more concerning that R2 could not muster even 500k in NA (out of a user base of over 6 mil) in its first 2 weeks!?!?!

I am doing my part as much as possible. I bought Dead Space, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2 and Valkyrie Chronicles in the last month. Thats $300 just in PS3 games alone. Yeah well Sony already admitted their sales were 72% lower than last year, i mean, c'mon that is a major loss, and ever since they cheapened out on the hardware by discontinuing the 60-gig model and basically mass producing the faulty 40-gig model but with larger hard drives, no backwards compatibility, no sd or flash slots, only 2 usb slots and a very slow progressing game library. What do you expect, they shot themselves in the foot a lot more than once and now they have to deal with it, and unfortunately you guy's who only own a Sony PS3 are the ones who suffer, and i am genuinely sorry for that, and believe me i'm not trying to be a fanboy when i say this, but maybe you should consider switching to the Xbox 360, the RROD has lessened a great deal now and the online experience and game library is better than ever. Well it's up to you but you might want to give it some thought.gearsgamer69

Now, the only reason this stinks, is that developers may move away from the PS3 if it can't produce sales. Sony needs to advertise like crazy. It's not hard to coerce the masses into doing something if done right. Titanic and 50 Cent's Bulletproof are proof of that.
