I really have to wonder whether or not the Vita will suffer the same fate as the 3DS did, considering they're launching around the same time period. I don't really think any platform can see solid results successful post-holiday and into the driest season for video games.

We'll also have to wait and see what the launch software will be - Uncharted might be great, but that's only one title that will appeal to a select few, what else will be available and how frequent - will that be enough to entice customers, or will Sony need to do more?

Calling it now. Ninty will release a revised 3DS a few weeks before the Vita launch. They just announced the second analog peripheral will be released in early February. They wouldn't be pushing the peripheral so hard if it wasn't eventually gonna be required. Actually, I take it back. Ninty will probably put the peripheral out a couple months before the new revised 3DS to make mad money off the peripheral first.

300$ for 3g is so not worth it. You cant even play online with it. Lets hope sony gives some good mobile apps to make it worth while. I might get vita slim down the raod. I see sony is pushing expensive memory sticks yay!!!:roll:

If it's the digital version of the PSP game, then you can play it on your Vita. If it's UMD, then no. Though apparently Sony is planning some way of buying the digital version for cheap in these cases. Don't know much about that though

You know would be great for FFX? Revoice Tidus. Then it would have the potential to have better overall VA than the Japanese ver.

But the JP lineup is godly. I daresay, its one of the best lineup ever.

26 titles...about 5-10 games worth looking into covering a span of different genres.

Now the real question: how long before it's actually worth buying?
