Some of what he said is true and he it wasn't his appearance or speaking style that made me suspicous it is his room enviroment and how his collection was styled. It just doesnt make sense to have 3 different ways to put games and the fact he has huge amounts of games for each system... All of it seems to be staged non fanboy when he constantly praises the PC and PS3

I personally will always prefer console gaming also. I mean i play WoW but i find gaming on a PC to be extremelyuncomfortable. If i did care about all the mods and user created content, if i did like RTS games, if i did care about Crysis status graphics i would own a gaming PC. I mean according to PC fanboys i could get a gaming rig for 600$.

You do not need a $1600 computer to play multi-plats that are on console.... for 1600 I could build a machine with an i7 930 cpu, gigabytes 1366 socket UDR3 mobo, 5870 graphics card, 1TB HD, (depending on quality) 750-1000W power supply, HAF 932 chasis, keyboard, and mouse. A machine like that can play Crysis Warhead at the highest settings with no trouble or overclocking. That machine could play every console-PC multiplat AT THE SAME TIME!

I could go to the store and build a 400-500 dollar machine that will play any console-PC multiplat on settings that will make it look FAR superior to what is on console.

Yeah 400-500 because I said BETTER settings. If you want the same settings, go ahead and downgrade, guess what? You can because its a PC. You have the freedom to build it and use it as you want.

And if you want to talk money:

You spend ~50 bucks a yr on xbox live. I don't know how many games you buy, let's say you only grab a few that you REALLY like, so 3 games a year, 180 bucks. This doesn't take into account if you pay for other services games etc.

So for online and those 3 games a year you are looking at 230 USD annually.

On PC, those 60 USD games range 40-50 each and online is free. So you would pay roughly 120-150 a year for that same material. So now owning the 360 as a substitute, you are bleeding 80-110 USD each year. I think that will make up the difference in cost pretty quickly.

Forgot to mention that PCs are more than just gaming platforms, they can pretty much do everything. And usually a household is going to need at least 1 anyways...
