Not true, atleast 10 million people have a better PC than the PS4, when the PS4 is released, even more people will have better hardware than the PS4, and from there it keeps on getting worse.

True, most PC gamers have weaker hardware. But still, PCs will catch up really quick with the new consoles.

PC gamers either have medium specs PCs or High specs PCs. Steam survey is unreliable and shouldn't be used for any argument against PC gaming.

Oh and, atleast 10 million already have hardware better than the PS4.

I'd like to know how they were able to determine who was a hardcore PC gamer and who were just playing Facebook games on their PC. I think most hardcore gamers will have better specs then the next-gen consoles.

In any case, owning all 3 platforms equal "Master Gamer".

Try harder. By the time the consoles release, there's going to be far better graphics cards, CPU's and memory on the market. I enjoy console gaming as much as the next person, but in the graphics department consoles can't hold a candle to PC's. chrisrooR

Consolites are born brain dead. Apparently they think when a console releases everybody gets the console right away.      Its only by that logic they think the entire pc community should be playing with better hardware. 

I for one have a 7970.. its almsot 2 years old.. Its actually better than a ps4 and its old news to me. Im going to be getting the new AMD GPUs that coming out in the next 2 months.

They won't have screen tearing, because it implies it's going over 60 fps.

Actually screen tearing has nothing to do with frame rate. If the frames aren't synced ot the monitor, screen tearing will appear. It's just that it's more noticeable at 60+ FPS (on a 60 hz monitor at least).

Several million PC gamers already have PC's with more capability than the PS4 will ever have, and that number will only go up, and hardware will continue to improve to the point that consoles won't even begin to touch PC gaming enthusiast hardware.

The ammount of pcgamers who will be enjoying better graphics than Xbox One and PS4 will always be much bigger than the combined installed bases of those consoles. Sorry.
