So 2/3's of Steam users have a near equivalent or better GPU than Next Gen consoles
and Nearly 1/2 have better processors.
So...what was point of thread again?

[QUOTE="GuNsbl4ziN"][QUOTE="Suppaman100"] True, but there are SO many good console games you'll miss out if you're PC only. The difference won't be as dramatic between PS3 and 360, but between PC and Console it is.Suppaman100

It will never happen. How long did it look PS3 to reach 72 mln users? Because that's how many people will be doing 1K upgrades to their PCs regularly in 2015. The number of PC gamers with rigs that completely outclass a PS4, right now, is already huge, especially when compared to the number of PS4 owners (0) and it will only grow over time.

The problem is that you're comparing completely different types of games to eachother. No sh*t, that multiplayer focused games can be played more than singleplayer focused games.Â
So your logic is flawed and in the end you'll need a console or you'll miss out on the best games that the industry has to offer, this not an opinion but a mere fact.

It is an opinion, a wrong one, since the PC has more AAA/AA games than consoles.
It will grow very slowly, most people aren't going to buy top tier PC's, especially not in this economy.DavekeehEven now, buying a top tier PC to outmatch a PS4 is like bringing a nuke to a fist fight. And with further PC hardware advancements, it'll get only worse for you.

You're not very bright are you?
For the past few years, there hasn't been a good reason to upgrade since this gen lasted for so long. A 560Ti is still a great card. As new consoles arrive and new games start pushing graphics, PC gamers will have a reason to finally upgrade. I mean, I'm still using a 2007 board, a Q6600, DDR2-800 ram and a 560Ti. It's more than enough to play at settings FAR higher than what the PS3/360 can achieve (I game at 1680x1050, my 22'' monitor native res).

Most people are also not going to throw their PS3/360 away and drop money for a new console. You seem to assume that all PS3/360 owners will instantly upgrade. They will not. Some will, but the number of PS3/360 gamers will be much higher than PS4/XB1 gamers for quite some time.
