Look, consoles will always be better than PCs in one area that's very critical to mainstream gamers: ease of use. You're not going to convince Granny to play anything PC beyond Solitaire if it involves anything beyond putting in the disc and figuring out which button does what you want to do (A, B, X, O, etc. are much easier to remember than say, "Button 1", which may not even be the same from controller to controller).
Why aren't there PC party games? Platformers?
Why does Madden sell better on consoles than PC?Â
What about people who want to play on their TV and not have to move their PC or have its precluded by the kids watching cartoons?Â
