I'm a PC gamer, and the only console I own is a PS2. But I've grown bored of arguing for the PC, so now I'm going to switch teams for a bit. Anyway, the console is better for these reasons:
A console is convenientYou don't have to worry about tweaking anything
You don't have to update drivers
You don't have to worry about conflicting processes such as AVG and Steam
The games are better
The graphics look good and the system only costs $400 bucks
It's cheaper to game on
You can lay on your couch while playing

You make good points, the only ones that are wrong or possible incorrect, are:
"The games are better" - This is completely subjective, and is in fact the other way around for me.
"The graphics look good and the system only costs $400 bucks" - You can build a more powerful PC for $400, so the price is moot. Unless we are talking arcade 360.
"You can lay on your couch while playing" - My PC is set up the same way as my consoles, and I sit on the same couch.
The rest are just a trade-off for added advantages, such as higher rez, better graphics, better control scheme (subjective) using controller or KB/M, mods etc etc.
