PC gaming isn't what it used to be back in 2001, it's filled with crappy indie games on steam that barley work or farmville games on face book, not to mention it could and most like be considering all sources of computer type games like app phone games. Consoles fuel AAA type games if they didn't Gamestop would of gone under long ago and 1/3-1/2 of the electronics department at stores like Walmart wouldn't be dedicated to Console games.

Consoles are a viable option, PC is a viable option. PC requires more time, effort, and money, but it rewards you eventually, and that is why most PC gamers will say that it is better, because it is.
But obviously., not everyone wants that. Good for them.
Don't worry cows. Maybe one day you'll grow up to be PC gamers too. It's inevitable. Almost all PC gamers I know started out with a Gameboy or other handheld as a kid, moved on to consoles for a few years, defending it to the death, and eventually realized PC was subjectively superior in every way, and finally, ended up on PC.

@clyde46: so well said. As PC noob I am enjoying learning the ins and outs of it. I still know crap about using MODS, and the odd steam game doesn't run, but the forums always have what I need.
Community? One of my favorite shooters was medal of honor the modern one, and I have fun with people who still play it on steam. On live it was all " cod does this, you're g**, F you n****r".
I own an x1 because I want to play games on it, I love the entertainment aspect although my effing phone can play Netflix. I like voice commands because I have no friends .........no future............. oh god........... why?

Games are not good then if your biggest advantage is that you can get rid of them or that you want to get rid of them
