1. Scores don't mean squat in determining which game wins which award. 8.4 GOTY to Everquest is proof enough.

2. Group opinion > individual opinion

3. DS is just as deserving of the award as DAO and this isn't the first place DS has won RPGOTY.

This was already "consolespot am confirmed" when MGS4 won graphics award in 2008. But that wasn't enough; this year, they decided to take it up a notch, and not even let users vote for PC games.

That is what's puzzling to me as well. I've played and beaten both, and I can say that DAO is easily better than Demon's Soul's. But just remember that this is the same site that said MGS4 had better graphics than Crysis: Warhead.HoolaHoopMan

DA:O is the better RPG easily, Demon's Souls is great though. :)

Both of those combine all the reviews of different websites. For award its only gamestop PEOPLE. Nice try though.

It's not that bad. A PC exclusive "simulator" game won the "strategy" category ;)

GS is not required to go by the score given by one person when making a group decision.

I dunno. I just got DOA for my PC yesterday and I have yet to see anything that makes me like it more than DS.

BTW After playing DOA on both the PS3 and PC I can't believe how bad it is on the PS3. Its like they arent even the same game. One running at 20 fps and the other 60 fps. I just wish they had DS on the PC.
