I'm changing the thread. :P
Consolites bashing PC for reasons such as can't use a controller, constant upgrading, and etc. Behold I debunk all their bull!
For starters you don't need to spend thousands on a PC and upgrade every 2 years or 2-3 years. Anyone with at least a 8600GT and Dual Core processor can play games on their PC at settings better then console with multiplats being maxed at 720p or higher and running PC tech pushers at settings better than the consoles.
Here is a little video demonstrating what the AMD Apu can do at 1080p

If you think about it you can get higher settings if you sacrifice the resolution a little.
I'm sure some one can find a rig better then this for a little cheaper.
Think building a PC is too hard? Go buy a prebuilt then.
You have many companies to choose from to provide a PC you want from AlienWare, Origin, ibuypower, CyberpowerPC, and others to put together a gaming PC for your budget.
Don't want to use a mouse and keyboard? Use a controller then. You have a wide selection of controllers to use on PC and I use some of these.
You can play on the couch. Don't want a Giant PC in your living room or don't want to drag your PC out everytime.
Get a mini ITX PC it will be small enough to keep in your living room if you don't know what Mini ITX is here is some example of it.
The PC is at the bottom.
Here are other mini itx PC cases system builders can get
What about keyboard and mouse? Just get a wireless keyboard and mouse for you to use from your couch. You don't need to spend money on fancy KB+M cheap ones can do the job fine.
Upgrading drivers a Hassle?! Updating drivers can be done in a matter of minutes.
Download the Driver BAM your done! Steam can do this automatically for AMD users.
As for the tweaking graphics argument that can be done in minutes too.
Most games these days can auto detect settings for you, and you have the option to use presets such as low, medium, high, ultra, and etc.
Patching Games? Really now Console games have patches now too. Patches can be done automatically by Steam, Origin, and others. Steam can do it before you even start the game so that way you don't have to wait to play the game while the patch is starting.
Installing games a hassle? I hope you don't play on PS3 or buy games from (some games are recommended that you install on Xbox 360) XBLA, WiiWare/virtual store. The majority of big releases have retail version so if you don't want to wait for the digital download go out and buy it retail. You can activate your CD key on Steam or Origin for some games and you can add games that weren't bought off Steam or use Steamworks and them to Steam so that way you still get the Steam Overlay so your friends on still will know what your playing and you can still use the ingame chat.
Can't Rent PC Games? Think again!
