It is the same **** every god damn day. Out of the 20 post on the first page there is always 5 threads on why PC is better. They should be **** better. Who gives a **** But you never see the ignorant mother ****ers make threads about games. No Tribe threads, no Armma 2 threads. It is always "Our **** is better than yours and because your tech is 10 years old our games look better...ha ha ha.". It's like we know this **** already. That is why new consoles are coming out soon. And of course if it is multiplat like Witcher 2 they are like "That looks like **** It is better on PC! No **** you dumb mother ****er. But I am sure the game will be just fine on the 360. Metro 2033 and Left 4 Dead was fine. Splinter Cell Conviction was fine. THEY ARE THE MOST POINTESS ****ING PEOPLE IN THIS FORUM.

Games like quake 2 that support software rendering and hardware rendering are the best u dont have to **** with a ton of graphical settings u just select hardware and texture quality and resolution and that's it same with software mode.

For a good gaming PC one could get a 360 and PS3. The 360 will cover most of the good PC titles and then you have two choices for multiplats and all the exclusives both consoles offer. I think that is a far better deal.

In reality, one console (or PC) should suffice for content as my 360 back catalog is HUGE at the moment but if one was to look at price and value, I think two consoles is a better purchase than a gaming PC. Assuming you already have a PC for everyday typical use.

I bought a gaming laptop a over a year ago that seems pretty good for PC gaming. I only play Starcraft 2 on it but I can run it on high (on ultra get some framerate issues). But I had more fun playing Halo Wars with the same group of friends then Starcraft 2. The graphics are not that much better to me and I think it's comparable to good DVD upscaling vs Blu-ray.

Same with the original Xbox and Doom 3 and Half Life 2. They looked great on the laptop I had at the time but I enjoyed playing them better on the console version. I really don't think PC gaming is worth the price of admission and these are my thoughts AFTER purchasing the tickets.

To all the people who say consoles are cheaper.......how much is the pc you are using now? now if we add that to the price of a lowly console i think your looking at £700-800 or alot more, so you could get a really good gaming pc and use it on your tv with a controller ;)
