@xdude85: I'd rather a critical douche than a braindead child. I also think this drawing is critical of both console and PC gamers. Hell the console player repeats he likes the art style twice as if he had forgotten he already said it.
Don't pc gamer fanboys tend to point out how their version of x and y big release games is better? Well, those are console games. People are buying them. This tells the publishers that pc gamers want games catered towards a game controller. End of discussion.
Having a great performance on PC doesn’t make game a good PC Game!
What is your point?
lemme break it down for you this way: for instance Dragon Age Origin, you could call it a good PC game, -obviously not as good as Baldur’s Gate but still good enough - until Bioware decided to port the game to consoles. They did it with removing tactical view option and replacing it with a shitty combat and dialogue system, they dumbed it down bad and they did it again in Inquisition. Some of PC games are made only for PC, trying to shoehorn them into console games makes them only bad or less good because what devs would do is spending their time trying to make them more playable on consoles while ignoring the game itself.

Yeah I've been saying this for a long time now, as have others. The games are made for consoles. The current trend is making things extremely simple--experiences that are more in line with movies than traditional videogames. It is why I have not built up a pc in a very long time.
Thread title fits the gif perfectly xD. Like an instant generation leap, game still looks great.... just not mind-blowing. I really want to play CDPR's version of W3 that existed before stuff was taken out to make the game possible on consoles.
Similarly I fear this won't be the game we end up seeing. Hope I'm wrong. Instead of World in Conflict 2 we're getting this dumbed-down shooter.
So pic is true of pc gamers then? just as I thought.
@sSubZerOo: whatever FEAR is like a decade old and I just remember having to adjust many keys.
If you dont want to take what I'm saying into context fine.
All I was trying to say was that generally games PC exclusive or not have been simplified (control scheme wise) over time.
But go ahead and be anal about it.
I recently played FEAR 1 again, it didn't have any kind of control bloat, especially when we are talking about a game that WAS PORTED over to consoles as well.. Find a real example, because the games with a large amount of controls still exist on the pc to begin with..
@sSubZerOo: Diablo 3, Farcry series, most multiplats is what I'm talking about.
Yes I know ARMA still exists but for the most part whole "every key does something different" thing is not as bad as it use to be.
Most games' controls have been simplified that's all I'm saying and I don't know why you're stuck on FEAR when I'm saying its games in general.
Look at Crysis 2. There's no lean. That's 2 buttons that are now easily accessible.
I think Farcry 1 had lean as well.

Are you trying to tell me you felt overwhelmed with the fact there were lean keys? And Diablo 3? What? Have you even played Diablo 2? It wasn't a very hot key heavy game..
@sSubZerOo: don't worry....PC is still so awesome that it can grant world peace.
You're competely ignoring half of what I say and I'm on my phone which is a pain in the ass to type on.
I don't feel like trying to explain this anymore.

confirmed, lean key too many buttons.

Because your making incredibly poor comparisons.. I am not arguing based on the fact of me preferring pc, just the really poor examples.. If you want a comparison of key bloat, look at something like X3 Reunion.. I mean you used FPS's, which were never incredibly heavy in controls in less we talk about simulators.. And you talk about something like leaning? What? I mean Deus Ex Human Revolution had more controls than the likes of FEAR 1 or Farcry 1..
Than you use something like Diablo 3? There are more key bindings in Diablo 3 than there were in Diablo 2.. In Diablo 2, the majority of builds were incredibly simplistic having you spam one or two abilities.. WW Barb consisted of you WWing, while using the shouts every so often, and maybe using a berserk or two to kill a physical immune etc etc.. If anything Diablo 3 became more complicated in this regard with juggling multiple abilities..
@sSubZerOo: In the slight possibility you're not just being a prick by nit picking my examples and genuinely don't understand what I'm trying to say:
I don't remember many games from yesteryear...especially the controls specifically. So trying to find blatent polar opposites as comparisons is something I guess I can't do.
I've said this before with examples and no one jumped my case.
But I'm on my phone and I can't really research like I want...and frankly I'm not going to do it.
All I'm going to say is that over time I've noticed controls in games PC exclusive or not become more simplistic. Given that most companies focus more on console , I believe that has something to do with it.
Save for the simulation games like ARMA or maybe RTS's.
Just my opinion on the evolution over time.
It's not even the fact the games on consoles, it's pure lazy Bethesda bullshit. The UI is atrocious but that's only a mere sliver of the problems this game has. It's a shame Toddler has to ruin everything he touches.
@sSubZerOo: @MBirdy88: hey guys, look PC can cure cancer.
It's ok guys.
Can it do that on just one button while it makes me a waffle too? or should I do that with seperate buttons?
Well, consolization can only be blamed on the hermits. Developers will prioritize wherever the money is coming from. If you don't bring in the majority amount of money, they will just care less about you
are you listening to yourself? ....
