You do know the single player is done, right? dreman999I doubt that

1. You never play horde mode in gears? Thing like an omega fight club or Pinnacle station with fit right with it. 2.I never said it was perfect. It has it's problem like character who are LI are cut short to people who don't go into a relationship with them. It has no standing subquest aka make them like overlord. It need more banter. We need to use more powers at once. And the game need a pinnacle station/fight club. Also, Omega needs to be bigger.[QUOTE="dreman999"][QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"]
Then they can use that extra time to polish the numerous bugs that will be present (they were there last time they will be here this time).
And why keep it separate? It will be like we have two separate games.
PS: Have you ever criticized ME? It's a great series, but it's far from perfect and you seem to be the only person who thinks it's perfect. You are allowed to criticize.

Ya I remember the last time Bioware attempted a Horde like mission/mode, it was terrible.
But the fact remain that it had nothing to do with the mode. It was that the combat engine what that bad. ME1's combat is slow, staggering and off balance. ME2 fixed that and ME3 vastly improved ME2's combat. So the combat engine will not be the problem this time. If they do mp and it's PvE, It will be fine, because PvE is easy. PvP on the other hand is complex.[QUOTE="dreman999"]You do know the single player is done, right? The_RedLionI doubt that It is. The planning and details are done. The environment are finished. ME3 is just on the cutting room floor. All that's left is combat and balancing. Right now BW is going onto BSN and taking suggest on how to improve classes from players. This is the last detail the need. That and what ever extra story lines they are recording.
Any co-op is better than no co-op. I'd prefer campaign co-op myself, but I'll take whatever. those handful of missions better be amazing though.
It's not like you have to touch the multiplayer aspect anyway, so I don't know why everyone is crying foul. Considering most of this board is always talking about the freedom to choose in some way or another.

would you be so nice and point out where do they say all that about the sp being done?Keep the co-op out of the campaign. If you want multiplay, make sure it has nothing to do with single player.dreman999Why? It's not like they can force you to play coop.
I agree. How the hell would you add co-op into the middle of a game like Mass Effect? When you get the parts where you're just walking around talking to NPCs and buying gear.... that'd be kind of boring for your partner. MrSelf-DestructI would need work, but it's definitely possible. Coop RPGs are nothing new. They could also go a step further than any coop game and let the two players interact in the conversations, maybe even argue, etc.
And I'd have a hard time getting immersed into the story with some idiot running around me and likely shouting profanities his mic. Not to mention the bedroom scenes would be down right *awkward* :P MrSelf-DestructThat's why you coop it with a bro. Or don't coop it at all.

Wait.....Wait. Co-op is not confirmed at all. BW is silent on this right now. In nothing but SP BW is talking about.[QUOTE="dreman999"][QUOTE="The_RedLion"] can you post a link? to the specific thread where they say all that :)The_RedLion

would you be so nice and point out where do they say all that about the sp being done? This is in a topic deep in the borad. In not going out of may way to find it. Just note that they are currently focusing on the combat. That's not fully developed until the SP is planned out.And I'd have a hard time getting immersed into the story with some idiot running around me and likely shouting profanities his mic. Not to mention the bedroom scenes would be down right *awkward* :P MrSelf-DestructThat's why you coop it with a bro. Or don't coop it at all. Why? They would have to cut dialogue and choice in story for a campaign MP game.
[QUOTE="DarkLink77"]Wait? It wasn't dead to you before? I had some hope. And then BioWare crushed it.Well, Mass Effect is officially dead.

If it's good.[QUOTE="dreman999"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"]Wait? It wasn't dead to you before? I had some hope. And then BioWare crushed it. Why are people against co op? If you don't like it, cool. Some of us do.
ROFLCOPTER603
Because the ME games have been singleplayer the entire time. I don't think people hate the idea of coop/mp in ME, just the main trilogy that follows Shepard. At least that's how I want it.
But the fact remain that it had nothing to do with the mode. It was that the combat engine what that bad. ME1's combat is slow, staggering and off balance. It had nothing to with the combat system, I got through the rest of the game enjoying it, it was the fact that Pinnacle Station was just bad. Nothing else to it.
And if the coop has nothing to do with the singleplayer, then why add it?

You kidding be. ME1 combat was the worst part of it. The fact that BW redid everything from scratch for ME2 for combat is a clear indication that ME1 combat is bad.[QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"][QUOTE="ROFLCOPTER603"]

I got only for the achievements (and it was cheap I think like $1 or something). Pinnacle Station was uninspiring, boring, and a cheap cash grab.
