Well I did for a while. It was fine, I got by. But having all 3 is just fantastic. I get the best exclusives from the PS3 and Wii and then when a great multiplat rolls around I can get the best version on 360. It's great.
I did have a Wii as my only system from late 2008 through April 2009. I still have it as my only console. But I got a DSi on April 9th, 2009 and I will get a Laptop and have Steam on it May 23rd same day I get Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I could have anything as my only system. I just love games. Last year my apt was robbed and the only thing they left me was my old old school gameboy. I played that thing to death.
the wii was my first current gen system and i got bored of it real fast. once i bought my ps3 i barely ever played the wii so i gave it to my mom lol. i've had the ps3 for two years now and i am still trying to catch up on all the good games. the only game i want for the wii is the new zelda.
I actually tried for a while. I had Madden 10, The Conduit, SSBB and RE 4. In the end, I just didn't like the controls with the WiiMote especially with shooters and Madden. Its not about the graphics with me. If a game has passable visuals but outstanding gameplay and functional controls, Ill play it. Honestly, I think that The Conduit was a very good game that just needs some polishing to take it to the next level. I wish that Madden could just have normal controls because I actually found Madden 10 on the Wii visually appealing with the "cartooney" style.
I won't be gaming if that was my only option. Its inacceptable missing games such as RDR, AC2 (which i don't like but many do), Dead Space, Bioshock and one million more. Current gen has the best multiplats of any gens (i think) and Wii is stuck with Mario.
The Wii is my only system I have this gen and I have no desire to get another console. It has great platformers, and a lot of unique nich titles to keep me happy. It actually is slowly becoming my favorite system ever.
I do and I am doing great. Sure, I would love to play some games on the PS3 and 360, but since my time and money don't allow I will stick with the Wii.
I'm guessing the only people who answered "yes, why not" and such, are the ones with Wii only, even now rofl. Most of people on gaming forums aren't casuals who just started gaming and i will NEVER believe some1 telling me that Wii alone is enough. Do you game once per couple of weeks? Sure, Wii only will do fine, but if ya gaming every day? lol.
the wii has many games to keep one person peroccupied unless you play games all day and night then idk what to tell you. You may want to try going outside and socializing more.
If I had to live with just one of the three consoles I'd probably be happiest with the Wii (though DS is probably my most played system). There's certainly some games I'd miss out on but there's more than enough on the Wii to keep me busy.
Yes. Although I love Online on my PS3. Just talking to friends and such. If the Wii had an online that was equal to atleast the PS3, and it had atleast a few online games on the level of somthing like Warhawk or Halo, I would probably only own a Wii.

I had a Wii for 2 years before I got my 360 and truthfully, the only games I'd really be upset that I'd be missing out on are the Assassin's Creed series and Street Fighter IV/Super Street Fighter IV. Otherwise, I've had some fun with games but if I didn't play them through this generation I wouldn't be very upset over it.
