[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Yeah I could. I had a Wii for 2 years before I got my 360 and truthfully, the only games I'd really be upset that I'd be missing out on are the Assassin's Creed series and Street Fighter IV/Super Street Fighter IV. Otherwise, I've had some fun with games but if I didn't play them through this generation I wouldn't be very upset over it.DibdibdobdoboI was gonna say have you tried Tats Vs Cap but its obvious you got it... PS: whats the online like?! i brought it but havent played online yet. Laggy at times -- usually when I do world-wide matches, domestic matches work fine. Though everyone I face is really really good.. and I'm not :P.
Yeah man. I can totally have the Wii as my only console. There was only 2 times where it WAS my only console.
But I would always have a PC by my side.

What if you didnt have a gaming PC?That would be my answer as well.Same here.[QUOTE="Shirokishi_"]
Only console? Yes.
Only system? No.
Bigboi500
why or why not?
Tommy8930
No I could not. There are just over 10 games on it I would buy and that's far too few to last me a whole generation. I beat about 2-4 games a month.
yeah, I barely play video games at my place as is (most of it is playing street fighter or halo at a friends)

I don't have a gaming PC either, I'm just saying that I have a PC. :P
wii was the first next gen system i got. back then everyone was still in love with wiisports. and i seen one in stock, so i quikly bought it. now its the only system i dont have. its also the only system i ever sold:shock:it was that bad.....
Hell no. As a person who has yet to hold even a controller of any of the current gen systems I can safely say from what I've seen there's probably only 2-5 gams I would consider buying for the wii; all of which I would probably beat very quickly.
Now that may change as 2010/2011 looks to be pretty good for the wii.
I do have a Wii as my only console, so to answer your question, yes I could. I wouldn't like to have a PS3 or 360 as my only console as it seems likethat they mainly offer shooting/violent games, which is now my least favorite genre due to the overwhelming amount of games released in that genre. Thus I'd be bored with another console. Ofcourse there are a few gems that interest me, games like LittleBig Planet, but not enough for me to really want that console. I have had a PS3 (my friend wanted me to look after it) for a little while, and I was forcing myself to play the games. Unfortunately one of those games was not Little Big Planet lol.
The Wii on the other hand has a unique library of games that appeal to me. Furthermore, the amount of games coming out lately, I'm finding it difficult financially to keep up, so I couldn't imagine having another console anyway. Gr, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 comes out this Sunday. Then the rest if the year+DS games+3DS coming out. I dunno if I can cope.

Why is it wii fans get really defensive if you suggest it has a limited library of kiddie games yet they're constantly saying nonsense like this?
No one gets upset at kiddy comments. I just find it funny when people have no idea and think the Wii has no games.[QUOTE="Chemical_Viking"][QUOTE="trugs26"]

And people making those comments are no better or worse than people claiming HD consoles only have shooters. Sports games, driving games, adventure games, RPGs, there is an absolute abundance in all of the main genres.
I'm guessing the only people who answered "yes, why not" and such, are the ones with Wii only, even now rofl. Most of people on gaming forums aren't casuals who just started gaming and i will NEVER believe some1 telling me that Wii alone is enough. Do you game once per couple of weeks? Sure, Wii only will do fine, but if ya gaming every day? lol. silversix_Honestly why would we care what you believe?
Hellz No especially considering its region locked and phantom brave we meet again isn't avaibliable where I live, also no disgaea love for the wii.
Having only begun "properly" gaming this generation, the Wii has been a godsend to me. I am not happy about the console completely, or about Nintendo's approach to it, but I could easily survive with just that machine. I did, for a long while.
It has the kinds of games on it that I remember from being a kid, with light, arcade styIe gameplay and a hefty amount of challenge. My PS3 has made me hungry for the more popular, modern genres of games, but I get less excited about games on that system by far.
Assassins Creed and Red Dead Redemption? Thats nice, but give me my A Boy and His Blob and Bit. Trip series :)

I ignore the kiddy comments, I don't really get upset about anything like that because I know what I know, and only care for constructive criticism to expand what I know, thus the "kiddy" comments I do not care about. For those who do get upset, meh, whatever, seems to be a little silly to get so upset over something like that, if there are such people.
The "nonsense" that I suggest is something I percieve. The PS3 and 360 may have a lot of games in various genres, but so does the Wii, so there is no real competition between them in that respect. But what I do see something to compare between is the exclusive, unique and truly special games. And it simply just seems like that the PS360 offer a lot of the block bustery games. It's like the Transformers movie, it's a real block head, blockbustery movie that appeals to many people because of its blockhead nature. "Ohhh that looks cool" "Wow explosions!" etc. That's what I see with the Xbox and PS3 - They offer a lot blockhead games. In the end, to me, it's not enough for gaming. While with the Wii I see really special gems.
That is my opinion.
Note: The PS3 and 360 are not without these type of games. But there isn't as many/aren't as good as what the Wii offers. Even the "hidden gems" people often spout about are violent games/shooters.
Again, in my opinion.
Please, expand what I know. I'm listening. This is what I just percieve, but I'm listening to you so you are in a position to give me something more to percieve.

Last time I even replied to you I was moderated for trolling. It seems wii owners can say whatever they like about the other systems but with no retaliation allowed. I don't know who reported me but suffice to say, I'm done with this conversation.

Okay well even if they're 'kiddy' games how is that a bad thing? I often compare Nintendo to Pixar, with the fact that their games appeal to all ages.
As for the other platforms -- I mostly see one genre dominate and that is FPS, though it doesn't mean that they don't have other titles from other genres.
As for what those platforms lack, they lack games that to me just bring it back to the basics, which would be 'fun'. Sure stories are nice, numbers like 1080 are kind of cool I suppose but ultimately I don't care. I just want games that are different, which are often found more on the Wii then other platforms. Not to discredit those HD platforms, because they do have some fresh game experiences, like Mirror's Edge.
It's just that the Wii to me is a new way to play games and brings things back to the basics.
I could, but i guess gaming wouldn't be my favorite past time, it wouldn't even be in the top 100 ( i don't think i have a 100 past time either)
Im doing it currently. Love it.
Nintendo first party is all i need, supported by the rare epic 3rd party gem.
Of course I could. I kind of regret getting my PlayStation 3 because there are more than enough games for the Wii and I employ ridiculous standards. I don't see myself ever catching up with all these good games constantly coming out for all systems.
I'd be a sad panda if I did. Its games just don't interest me.blue_hazy_basic
I had one for 3 years and had fun. Some of you are a little over the top but eh, it's System Wars.Kenny789blue_hazy_basic are you psychic.. from all the animals some dude with a panda avatar posted right after you. I only have a Wii as a Console, but a DS and a gaming PC as well. I know of many people that only have a Wii and I suspect most wii owners have a Wii as it is the ideal Living room 'Family Console'.
Yeah, I easily could. I only play games during my two main vacations per year, and I usually buy 2-4 games per year as well.
