Well, considering a lot of people are calling Braid one of this year's best, and it won GS's award for Best Platformer of 2008, I want to hear from you. And here's a good example of how smart the game is(MEGA SPOILERS):

I don't see the obsession with Fat Princess. It looks awful.

Anyways, Braid is an awesome game. Maybe the best downloadable until The Maw on consoles. Audiosurf is still the best downloadable overall, though.

I think it's the best puzzle platformer I've played since warioland 3 it's just not been thought of so fondly since it won platformer of the year because of lbp being such a favourite even though that was like a christmas present to me. I haven't heard much actual criticism of it though, more people just not liking it and yeah that making it a bad game.

If anyone actually played Braid, they'll recognize it for its brilliant design, masterful artwork, and its new imaginative ways of making a platformer in this current generation. It's a good 2D game. But it's not just that, it's the little touches like the watercolory art-style, etc. that makes it stand out from all the other regular platformers. The moment the title screen came on and told me to move the character with the left analog, I knew this game was special. I liked the whole, city in flames, intro. Nice touch. The game is a work of art. Simple as that, the passion and lifework of a artist, which I can wholeheartedly understand and relate to. That's why I have a more appreciation for it.

I think people who hate on this game never even played it *cough* Sony/Nintendo fanboys *cough*. It's exactly how 360 fanboys hate Little Big Planet. Well, it doesn't matter because Braid will be on the PC. So anyone can play it.

I remember the guy who created saying they were going to port it to other systems (PC and ps3). But that was a very long time ago and I haven't heard anything since. I really hope it happens, I would love to play Braid on my ps3. Don't know what its about but it must be something amazing if its getting all this attention. Sadly none of my 360 friends buy anything on live ... so I haven't played it.navstar29

It's hard to say exactly why Braid isn't that much fun. For a game like Final Fantasy III DS I can point out flaws, but there's nothing really I can say about Braid other than the fact that the puzzles aren't as clever as some make it out to be. I'm sorry, but Majora's Mask still holds the spot for best puzzles in a game.

Also, I can't remember what the article was about, but I just remember the guy who made Braid talked negative about a highly regarded 2008 game, like he can talk down to great games because he made Braid. Does anyone know what I'm talking about.
