COWS riddle me this? LO IGN 8.2. This is GREAT NEWS. Will you buy a 360?

According to the standards that have been set for the PS3 and the game scores it gets. And considering the Fact that PS3 owners are notoriously known for being jRPG lovers.

You would think that they would be running out to get a 360 now seeing that Lost Odyssey why not AAA but still a dam good AA title.

It's looking like Lost Odyssey is a dam good jRPG for the 360.

So riddle me this question is the 360 WORTHY now? Being the 360 has cleary made huge strides in the RPG market. And have some decent jrpg's now also.

So are you PS3 fans tempted to get a 360 now. I mean there is nothing worth noting for the PS3 and jrpg's until atleast 09 for FF.

LO is the only 360 game im excited for this year (maybe banjo 3, but i dont think that has a release date yet does it?)

LO was never hypes as a system seller or a AAA game. But it has lived up to a very good AA title like it was hyped.

Not that this matters, if you play JRPGs you wouldn't take any of these review sites to heart.

First of all, you forget that only GS scores count. ANd from what I read in the IGN review, that 8.2 is being kind. Considering RPGs are about the story and IGN gave the "presentation" (which includes story) a 6.5. I expect GS will flop this game accordingly.

I bet you guys one thing!!! If this game would be called Final Fantasy: The Lost Oddusey than it would sell in the millions and would have gotten a better score. Everything mostly sells better if it has a name to it.

Just like Halo 3!! If it was called some other game and had another dude insted of Master Chief in it....do you guys think it would sold so much? No!!

Same goes to Super Mario Galaxy. If it was called Super Rudy the Fox Galaxy, and insted of Mario it would have been Rudy the fox it would been goty or sold so many.

I'm really sure of it. But there are always exeptions so I could be wrong with SMG.

Lost Odyssey scored 8.2 at the IGN AU site. I'm waiting for the original site's review. They seem to have higher standards. ;) majadamus

Wow that totally didn't deserve an AAA whatsoever. It was lackluster at best, good job GS is around to give it the score it deserves. although I would of given it an 6.0.

Actually, the original hype for this game was AAA. The hype died with each gameplay vid that was shown though so who knows what it is now...

Anyway, if I didn't own a 360 I wouldn't buy one for this game. Eternal Sonata is the only great rpg on the 360. For PS3 only owners, White Knight Chronicles and FF XIII are still the best looking JRPG's on the horizon, and well worth waiting for. Meanwhile, the PS3 is still offering plenty of other variety. I'm highly excited for FF XIII and Versus... but I'm even more eager to find out how soon Disgaea 3 and White Knight Chronicles will hit American shores. PS3'ers are in for a treat when Eternal Sonata hits this Spring also.

Please stop hyping this game up after this review, it is going to get destroyed by gamespot, and every other site. Destroyed. Anyone who read the review, would know this. Terrible Story, Framerate problems, Long loads, unlikeable characters, very generic gameplay (but very fun). This will probably be the highest score it gets. Probably be like Folklore, amazing game, poor presentation.

Blue Dragon didnt't get destroyed, it has a 7.7 average, which is still considered good.
