Cows- Why do you hype Killzone?

Called the inferiority complex. He's also comparing the PS3 pics of Haze to the PC game Crysis in another thread. He's all over the place. 

No, some lemmings have their ultra stupid moment but cows are consistant with it. Lemmings seem to stick to the same logic all the time which is why they are called lemmings but cows evade logic as if it was a disease.

Lemmings are the only one's that keep "hyping" Killzone. Most of us cows have let it go until Sony shows something. Yeah they messed up by claiming it to be a Halo killer and they made it worse by showing a CGI claiming it to be game footage but, again, cows have let it go. There are other games that are actually being shown that look great besides Killzone. It's not like Sony's success hinges on this one game.

Oh yeah right don't speak of such obvoius lies. Everytime a cow makes a list of upcoming games Killzone is always on the hyped games list. Or how about this.

Killzone 2 Will be good because...

• Large Budget
• Large Dev Team
• Sony is helping them
• PS3 is more powerful

Those are all the above phrases cows use to hype Killzone. Oh did I mention that Killzone 1 was underated and was actually a good game while Halo isn't that good and is overrated. Yup Lemmings are really hyping Killzone instead of the cows :roll:

I especially like how whenever a new game is announced(Haze & Uncharted) its insta-hyped & compared to other console games as being better. The Have vs. Crysis thread was a doozy.

Same quotes over and over w/a slight rendition of the former.

You act like you're being objective in this post but you're nothing but a fanboy yourself. I, as my sig shows, am a PS3 owner. I'm not hyping Killzone and I haven't seen anyone lately talk KillZone but lemmings.

Just to be fair though, they should port Killzone to PC. I wonder how it will fair on the king platform of FPS'. A god of the console FPS' got made into a peasant, I wonder what the peasant of console FPS' would get made into?

I think killzone 1 was dang fun and had a great concept for an fps, the graphics were great for a ps2 game and we can only expect much more from a developer like Guerilla

So because the game scored a 6.9 on PS2 that means the PS3 version will be just as bad? Surely someone who keeps touting how flawed the logic of others is can see the fundamental flaw in that way of thinking.   

Can you read? Where did I say KZ will score 6.9..do you not grasp the point of the thread & why it was created..comprehension is what leads people to faulty logic & misconceptions.

Good point. Which is why I'm not "hyping" this game as the PS3 savior nor the killer app until I actually see in game footage. The fact that so many 360 fanboys are worried about this game is what's really funny to me.  

What makes you think im a 360 fanboy? Just because you own a PS3 does'nt make you a cow, is that why you feel offended by this thread? Perhaps..

Hell I'm hyping it, along with for example Sadness that a lot of other Nintendo fans are hyped about as well. Shouldn't the same question be asked in this example as well?

First off, Killzone was NOT a bad game. It was only hyped too much. Second, if you're going to compare a Halo game that was released in 2007 to a killzone game, you should be comparing it to the latest killzone release, Killzone: Liberation, which got an 8.3. 8.3>7

Edit: In KZ: L, they already fixed the flaws from the first game. Now it's just a matter of building its solid base into something special.

Killzone Liberation was'nt hyped to be the Halo Killer. Killzone Liberation is not an FPS. Killzone Liberation is on a handheld. Halo 2 is 2 years older than Killzone Liberation. In your case lets compare Halo CE(PC) to Killzone Liberation, it was a port to and it still got a 9.0.

But since you feel like bringing up Halo 2 PC in this, there's every reason to compare the LATEST Killzone game to a supposedly better & improved rerelease that came out THIS year!

How are they comparible other than them both having guns? Why does'nt it say "First-Person shooter" on the Killzone Liberation page. Why don't I see neither Halo or Killzone in the "Similar games" section of the KZL page? What does' Liberation have to do with anything I said.

Because you were saying that Killzone 3 has absolutely no reason to be any good, when the developers already have a great game in the same series under their belts.  They have the base to jump off of.

LOL... Did you read the (Halo 2) PC review at all?! It got such a s*** score because it SUCKED compared to all the PC FPS games!

It was poor compared to "recent high profile PC shooters". I would like to see what those shooters were. If nothing that came out before HL2 is mentioned (or if very, very few are), Halo 2  stays on a positive light. You're playing a three year old game against newer ones.

Basically, you don't get any actual comment on the value of the game. Of course, if they mention older games, then this argument goes down the drain. 

I'll just say this right now.  If this game ends up good, PS3 sales will shoot up tremendously.  Do you guys know how many people got hyped up after seeing tha trailer?  Even after it was admitted later to being CGI, there is still a TON of hype.  After seeing Haze and some of the stuff in Resistance that was pretty impressive.....I'm guessing some people will be shocked when this game is shown, including myself.  Guerrila Games is a great team.  Did their first game score good?  Nope.  Did Liberation have good reviews?  (I know, it wasn't an FPS, but it shows they know how to make a good game.)  You bet it did.  The PS2's hardware held them back a lot.  They weren't able to do all of the things that they wanted to and they had many problems. 

PS3 is a whole 'nother ball game, people.  Let's just wait and see!  (I'm so excited.)
