For what its worth,

though the PS3 has been humiliated by the Wii this gen and will continue to be as far as its place in the industry is concerned,

some of the upcoming Sony first party titles I've seen have been mind-blowing graphically speaking.

it's to early to judge

both, the 360 and PS3, have shown to be capable of great graphics

every console this gen has been humiliated by the Wii

You guys only talk about the Wii beating PS3 in sales. The Wii is on the verge of surpassing a system that came out almost a year ahead of it. The Wii is still sold out in places. The Wii is kiilling both the 360 and PS3.

And I've yet to see anything on PS3 that beat Gears. Until these games are realized, 360 is still home to the prettiest console game.

Youre post and sig make up the most blatantly fanboyish showing in all of system wars history. Also that Killzone 2 as #1 thing? yeah that lasted about an hour. guess what was on top right after that? even if that meant anything considering that everyone (lemming and sheep included) were looking the agame up to see the new info. And Gears (even if a multiplat) still is only on 360 now and never will be on PS3 (and so far nothing on PS3 can touvch it graphically).

That's true. But if "teh Cell", as some so lovingly put it, can be utilized the way it seems like it can be utilized then who knows. I'm skeptical but it was once thought that a game like UT3 wouldn't be possible on the PS3 due to the lack of ram available to the GPU but Epic seems to be doing fine. In fact, one of their guys said they're further along at this point in development for UT3 on PS3 than they were for Gears at the same point in development for 360.

MassEffect is said to have framerate issues. Lets see if they fix that before we give it praises. Yeah still of the game look great but no one plays the game in still form.

Oh, I agree 100%. It's rumored that the Cell and RSX can somehow work together to emulate DX10. That would be very interesting, but as it stands right now, the 360 GPU is better.

Well, the fact is that the 360 GPU is better. I think games coming out on the 360 and PS3 this year are equally impressive. I love the facial animations that are in some PS3 games, they're mindblowing. Heavenly Sword and Uncharted.

The PS3 has the better CPU, and that means better physics, and I would much rather have physics over slightly better graphics.

Nah. I think games like Heavenly Sword and Little Big Planet are much more impressive than GT5.

The 360s GPU is superior to the PS3s, but graphics will likely be tied between them. What the 360 does, it will likely do faster. That's why we'll see similar visuals between the two, but better framerates on the 360, most of the time.farrell2k

After speaking to people who work with both, they say the difference is marginal and they can both do the same things, in fact they say the RSX has some advantages over the Xenos

You can find the specs for both GPU's if you google. Xenos has a slight advantage.

A PC for about $1000 (maybe less if you search well enough) will smoke the 360 and PS3. And trust me, people do give a crap. And the PC is not just better in gfx, its mods are godly ;)
