Crysis 2 exclusive gameplay fotage from GTTV!!!!

my god, is anyone else getting that weird buffering problem on gametrailers? it works find if i have the video running while i have another window/tab open but as soon as i go to the gametrailers tab it starts stuttering againlonewolf604

Or v-sync turned off.... which results higher framerate but more screen tearing.

Just tried it, worked perfectly for me (including sound). Set my resolution really low (1024x640), and I think I can crop it in animation shop.

The more I watch it, the more it grows on me. It looks fantastic. Wish there was a 720p downloadable vid, streams always have tons of screen tearing and they diminish the overall image quality of the game.

Plenty of great gifs waiting in there. Can't wait to see what people come up with.

Honestly,this is the most impressive console game I ever seen...up there with KZ2 and UC2,definitely.

I closed the stream window, so I can't check the part you're talking about. That sucks:P. The part where he's cloaked and the aliens walk by then he rockets 'em would be cool. I might make some once they have the downloadable version is available.

This place is gonna go bananas tomorrow. It's the weekend and all the haters will be on saying how it looks like junk, and so on:lol:. Hopefully they have time to polish it even more before release. It would look mind-blowing.

I took some screens, although screen captures of a stream don't really do any game justice, so this might be a bad idea as it could give the haters some ammo...

Honestly,this is the most impressive console game I ever seen...up there with KZ2 and UC2,definitely.

Tearing 2.0

Horrific tearing. Even heavy rain has less tearing. I usually don't complain about tearing but crytek really has to get that fixed big time because it was really horrific.

I think that's just a video issue... the older demos didn't have any tearing at all.

I watched it again and didn't notice any tearing? The video did stutter a lot when I first watched it.

I have to agree, i cant stand COD, but the footage of Crysis 2 looks really interesting to me so far (gameplay wise).

It looks great but it doesn't look like a console graphics king, I called it, it doesn't really look up to par with KZ2, UC2, GoW III, HR etc, not to mention KZ3 is around the corner, prepared to be blown away.

Hmmm, the game looks much better than Killzone 2, UC2 and KZ2 is as linear as heck. Still it's in pre-alpha, there's loads of time to add loads of grey or make a gloomier feel (KZ2), saturate the colours (UC2).

ive never seen a game where the gameplay looked as good as its cut scenes..... crysis 2 is like playking a cutscene as though it seems...... amazing and has now moved itself to number 2 on my e3 MUST SEE list....... now that i saw this gameplay footage and theyve confirmed e3 showings... im even more hyped.....best e3 EVER..... must buy and at midnight.

Best E3 ever will be when this motion control fad goes away, the companies are going to be wasting time trying to get real gamers hyped about things there going to market to non gamers, its going to be sad.

And how exactly would a person be biased towards a multiplat game?. I've never played Crysis so a Crytek fanboy doesnt seem likely, its coming out on both consoles so it isnt a plus or minus for the 360 or PS3. Maybe i just believe that the tiny bit of footage we have seen could very likely not be representative of the final product.

I will admit something though, i've never played KZ2 or UC2, but comparing footage i've seen, the C2 footage does look better to me, but as i said, to judge the difference now would be silly.

Crysis 2 looks like a cut scene. Maybe from the xbox generation. Because that looked around what I was expecting from any high production triple A shooter these days. Alot worse than crysis 1 but I will pretend it looks significantly better than modern warfare 2.

Looks good but I'm not impressed now lets wait for the PC version to come out. :P

So you call out people saying that C2 will "blow away" all console games, then you go ahead and say KZ3 will "blow people away" ?.

So the devs that created the best looking game to date cant get out of consoles what a dev that created one sub-par game and one great game can ?.
