Crysis 2 PC demo is out

Crytek is really dropping the ball, I really HOPE this is just a 360 build rather than a true PC version. I mean it is so dumb! How do I know wich settings is the better?, GAMER, ADVANCED, HARDCORE? It is all devoid of any sense of the degree of the graphical level.

I'm still hoping they can pull off another game similar to (the best of) Crysis 1. It's one of my favorite shooters, if they can get something even close I'm sure it'll be fun.

I'm not sure why they felt the need to blur everything.

Also I'm getting a lot of bugs, video not loading and audio dropping and stuff like that.

Decent enough otherwise, though a 12 player cap even on pc makes me wonder why they even bothered honestly.

Still looking forward to playing the campaign, where the real game is at.

From a cursory look though, the equivalent crysis add-on is puny in comparison to C2's. It's guns are still of an oddly larger design for whatever reason. I'd prove it with another gif, but I'm too lazy to make another one right now :P

just tried it....meh. i rly liked teh Crysis Wars multiplayer....this is pretty boring. on top of that te graphics are worse IMO.... final game better impress or i am dissapoint.

i think they may have completely removed the speed mode option and strength mode

To bad i cant try it, need a gamespy account for it. I dont remember my account but i can recover it but when i using my new password it wont work.

So, is Hardcore the highest graphical setting available in the MP demo?

Anyway, getting a constant 60fps on those settings, 1440x900 with fraps turned on. Really curious to see how it runs without any limitations.
