Yeah GoWIII does deserve reconition, I don't really see anyone saying that it is a bad looking game, People are just not saying that it is at the level of Crysis, and a reason he is getting bashed is he is making fanboy claims without good proof to back it up.

I know you PS3 fanboys have to stick together, for this even some of the other PS3 fanboys are disagreeing.

I'd imagine it's because one game employs the most detail game word ever seen, with some fo the most realistic lighting, character models, vegetation, snow, ai, post processing effects, all on a huge scale, at 60fps.

Whilst the other has a shockingly detailed lead character running around fairly drab, smallenviromentws, mutilating stupid creatures. All at a relativly low resolution, AA, AF, and FPS

It was dark. You couldnt even see anything in the beginning of Crysis. Crysis being a sandbox doesnt mean anything when i see Kratos fighting Sears Tower sized Titans with those graphics.

Not too sure about that.. He won't be able to get as good as the benchmarks as the GTX 260m http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-260M.14559.0.htmlbut he at least probably be able to play it on medium settings.. That being said, he got ripped when he could have gotten a laptop with a GTX 260m far cheaper then the regular 360m.

..................Uhh actually the beginning level was quite bright on default gamma due to the full moon, furthermore you had night vision..

Yes it looks good, nothing about that.. But I fail to see how this some how disproves the point on Crysis especially when people have posted videos.. Crysis is always gonna look better not because of the actual game being released is because people for years now have been tweaking and enhancing the game.. Its gotten to the point where some of these people have been able to create gameplay footage that borderlines on photorealistic as shown with some of the Crysis pictures back.

Don't get me wrong Crysis and Shattered Horizon look amazing on great hardware.. But GOW 3 looks better in my opinion:)

Not only does Shattered Horizon and Crysis look better than GOW3 they are also much more open gameplay wise.

This thread screams of double standards. The fact that you are even trying to argue over whether a three year old game looks better than a currently unreleased game is stupid. There is literally no way a machine with static hardware is going to surpass something that can be cutting edge.
