black ops shots still have more map detail and textures are better plus, metro2033 doesnt seem to be using hdr either.

metro2033 gun models are alot more blocky than black ops also.

Ive never played Mirrors Edge, but I have had the priveledge to atleast see Crysis in action on a top-of-the-line computer and based on those screenshots the OP put up I want to say its a close draw between the two as graphics king. Im sure there are other games that rival the two (I thought Metro 2033, Uncharted 2,and Final Fantasy 13 were close contenders) but seeing as I am not a computer gamer I guess I cant really chime in on the subject with too much levity...

the first pic of mirrors edge there i thought was an actual picture i didnt read the text i thought it was some weird sig., omg its easily the best looking thing iv seen on a game it looks like real life lol

On a PC, Crysis is king. You must have a fast CPU and GPU. Last I checked when Crysis is set to max including aliasing it brings every GPU to its knees.

I disagree, if you are playing black ops on a high end PC, it is one of the best looking games of 2010, and for the record Crysis warhead looks looks better in some cases ( begining of game before you take out propaganda broadcast station) than Crysis.

Also on a PC, the following affect resolution; CPU, GPU, Monitor, RAM, Motherboard. The software OS also makes a difference, Vista is just hitting its stride with DX 10 and DX 11. I think games look better on a PC. Mirrors edge and F1 pics do look nice though.

Looks Better then this you need to get your eye checked blackops isn't ugly looking buts it looks outdated, for a being a modifed quake 3 engine its done a good job but it shows its age and thats its running on such an old engine especially when you compare it to a game like metro 2033 or even bc2 vietnam which destroy it in graphics.

well, i'm not sure about the technical aspects, but personally, crysis is the sharpest, most detailed game i've seen to date. i will say those mirror's edge pics are pretty slick, though.

Without taking tech into account and going with just pure eyeball of the screen, I agree there are better-looking games than Crysis. Some chinks in the armor I already notice going from 1440x900 to 1920x1080 are the low polygon count of many round objects and some pretty bad textures especially in parts of Warhead. Crysis and Warhead look great in the forests and beaches. But around civilization, the low poly-count and low-res textures drag the game down a bit. Even Bioshock have objects with higher poly-count.

When I play my games, I usually get immersed by what's presented up front on the screen rather than the tech behind the scenes. That's just me though.

metro2033 looks pretty outdated with the corona's from the light's looks like unreal tournament 1999 lmao.
