pc gaming is not worth the price tag . i learned that the hard way i was a hermit for most my life i have had high end pcs for 16 years . i have spend 1000s on pc gaming . i have now seen the light i only game on systems now.deadmeat59

Hm, to play the best shooters, RTSs, and MMORPGS in the world in addition to internet browsing access, a dvd player, burning capabilities, and being able to emulate every game made up to the Xbox for about $1000. I would say that's worth it.

Popularity means quality! The biggest reason CS is so popular is because it's accessible. Any newb can pick it up and play. And every newb did. At one point it was almost trendy to play CS.
