The game does look good but it is boring no matter how good the physics are once u throw a couple of people aroumd

it gets really old, It was a leap in graphics but not gameplay. I'd still play halo 3 or killzone 2 before Crysis (Hey i Choose to everyday lol)

Cause only thing on the market right now (bar STALKER/Clear Sky and Fallout 3) are generic coridor shooters like FEAR 2, Killzone 2 and Co.

Crysis is a test of how creative players can be. If you found the game boring, its more indicative of you as a player than the quality of the gameplay.

Especially when one calls Fallout 3 a shooter. ;)

What's the point of this thread? Post some actual in-game pictures or don't post any at all. Nobody needs this showcase nonsense. "Oh, look! You can make the graphics looks THAT good but you can't play it like that. LOLZ!"nethernova

Crysis is my favourite, and IMO best, PC game of all time.

Many hated the story, I loved it. Characters were cool, it moved along nicely, andyou always felt in it.

Graphics... Crysis.

I loved the music and SFX, very gripping.

Gameplay was just sublime. Customization of guns, nanosuit, different ways to play, physics, all of it was there. And variety.

Replay: Great. The single player I did 4 times, found out new things everytime, plus online, which I never got to try due to no internet on gaming comp. But from my friends, say it's wicked.

So in the debate of Crysis, you're either one of 3 things:

A PC gamer who appreciates it's true beauty, An all-rounder who thinks it's cool but overrated, or a console gamer who is embarassed by how it destroys consoles.:D

The truth is, every gamer wants graphics like this for 'their' favourite game.

Killzone 2 is bar for console developers and hopefully more games should be just as good to see.

Crysis sets the bar for pc games, developers should at least try and recreate crysis-like graphics for their games.

End of the day, its down to money to produce those graphics.

Nope their just funner that Crysis. besides gameplay > grahics anyday and both killzone 2 and halo 3 deliver in that. Imo crysis is a generic fps with loveable graphics. Please don't say i haven't played it, my friend has a heavily upgraded computer which supports Crysis. Its a beautiful game but gets boring quick. I wouldn't invest money for an ovverated generic fps :P

Does it matter?? honestly you must not have alot of time in your life if someone's opinion is that they dont like Crysis. Man hermits are testy these days. And i agree that crysis is boring IMO, and you must too since every hermit brings up graphics when it comes to Crysis......

I see Crysis has finallysurpassed thebullshotswe got a year or so before it came out.

After seeing so many screenshots of Crysis, even Crysis with mods can't fool me into thinking it's real life.
