It is a funny thread. We get to watch everyone's hopes and dreams for their respective consoles destroyed in an instant >:).
Why because a $1000 computer runs Crysis? I don't want to have to buy new hardware just to play the latest games. I am more than happy with my consoles.
You don't have to buy a brand new hardware to play the latest and greatest titles. That would be like me saying, "OMG I HAVE TO UPGRADE TO TEH 360 TO PLAY TEH GEARS LAWL."My current computer can't run Crysis so in order to play it I will have to spend money. All I want to do is throw a game in and start playing, without having to worry about requirements.
If I were to build a computer that can run Crysis how long would it take until it can't run the latest games? I would like to know because if it was four to five years I would gladly build one.
First of all i need to buy a console to play console games... same goes to you, but you already have a PC since your here. So you'll only need to upgrade a few parts or manbe 1.
And the game is gona be out in november, PC hardware will get cheaper by then... so it won't cost you much.
It'll cost you less than that. Look at the comp in my sig. That will cost $500 by november!
Yeah. I'd like to add that once you build your first PC, PC gaming gets much cheaper. You don't have to buy a new case, OS (usually), HDD, CD/DVD drive, PSU (usually) or any of that other extra stuff. It ends up being fairly cheap actually.
